To whom it may concern,

It is my great pleasure to recommend Mr. Daniel Amore for an administrative position with your district.
Over the course of the past few school years, I have had the privilege to watch Dan grow into an
outstanding leader in his school and our district. Besides being a high-spirited educator, Mr. Amore has
been phenomenal in giving shape to some of the innovative ideas in our district and he has aptly taken it
upon his shoulders to keep research and best practices at the forefront of our professional development.

My initial connection with Dan started through our district’s teacher leader program. Dan’s drive and
desire to help realign curriculum, helped us streamline our 6th and 7th grade courses with the rest of
Oakland County. On a regular basis, Mr. Amore’s Teacher Leader duties entail him organizing
professional development for middle school general education and special education staff members. He
has worked on leading teacher improvement in the areas of Cultures of Thinking and Visible Thinking
routines, professional development through the use of social media, and inquiry in the classroom.
Recently, Mr. Amore’s class was featured in our district’s Innovator’s Blog
(https://spark.adobe.com/page/glw1uIkBGjSvu/) for his students’ recreation of an archeological dig; it is
evident that his students love and respect his knowledge and kind personality.

On a more personal level, I have enjoyed knowing Dan because he is enthusiastic, respectful, and an all-
around good person. His positive energy is contagious and he is sincere; expressing his concern for both
friends and community members. On numerous occasions, Mr. Amore has stepped up to help out his
school through his role as athletic director, taking on district-wide professional development, and he has
even created clubs at the middle and high school level without an attached stipend for them – he does it
because he is passionate about sharing his experiences.

Mr. Amore is a bright and motivated educator who exemplifies all the qualities needed to be successful
at any endeavor he chooses. He is willing to work very hard to achieve his goals, he is self-disciplined,
and he has a sensible perspective about life. Daniel Amore would be an asset to any campus and he will
certainly be a great representative of your school, as he has demonstrated through his work in our
Teacher Leader program.
