SESSION GUIDE IN PREPARATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR

KINDER-GRADE THREE

Duration of Session 2 Hours

“Teaching Materials” is a generic term
used to describe the resources teachers use to
deliver instruction. They support student
learning and increase students success.
According to Phil. Professional
Standards for Teachers(PPST) it is stated in
module 9 Resource Package that we should

select, develop, organize and use appropriate
teaching and learning resources including ICT
to address learning goals.
This guide is designed to help teachers
select instructional materials and develop
creativity among them to be used in their
daily instruction.
At the end of the session the participants
should be able to:
 Cite the importance of using instructional
materials
 Make instructional materials based on the
Learning Objectives
activities in the DLP exemplar
Materials:
 video clip
 sample DLP’s cartolina, folder, paste/glue,
scissors, scotch/masking tape
Use different organizers to answer each
activity.
