Moral Crisis in Indonesia

Nowadays bullying has became common secret in
indonesian. Indonesian has an prinsipal tradition , that are
mutual respect and mutual help. The bully has inversely
attitude with which we do.

Bullying behavior is very influential to the young generation

in our country. if the numbers of bullying behavior get
improvement, it will be impact to the adults life such as hostility.

Now the negative impact on the victim of bullying more at risk of experiencing health problems
both physically and mentally. Issues that may suffer by the children who are victims of bully
among others the emergence of various mental problems such as depression, anxiety and sleep
problems (habit as this can effect the child to adulthood).

Not only the victim, but children who do bully can also effect. According to research, when
tread adulthood , children who like to do bully have a greater tendency to: Behaves rude/abusif,
Do crime, involved in vandalism, Abusing drugs and alcohol, involved in sex.

Over the last years the culture of gotong royong had been strongly embraced by the people of
Indonesia and start shifting to be individualistic that tend into selfishness. It was one of the
factor that appears bullying.

Individualistic is not concern to environment, do not care to others, that offenses against our
culture .

It makes our society is not concerned with other people and the environment becomes one of
the triggering factors of bullying. Even sometimes is not concerned with the bullying that
occurred in surroundings.

On the other hand, people sometimes also tend have no care to prevent for fear of blame even
made suspects because the accused involved. To prevent bully, must be grown community
participation. Government institutions also requested no room in sectoral ego prevent bully.
Indonesia as a country that cares about these issues and will participate. It is proven through
welcoming to UNICEF which was represented by the legendary football player David
Backham in Semarang.

In this subject, UNICEF theme (endviolence) which means, "stop violence " with invites all
countries that joined, including Indonesia. The ambassador who were joined also carry out its
task as David Beckham.

Exactly on 25th March 2018 Then David came with UNICEF representative team to visit
various places or regions in Indonesia it's around 1 weeks to undertake a program of positive
campaign, David visited the city of Semarang for the first.

David has done his job to submit their opinions about the importance of awareness to reject
violence and bullying action through a positive attitude and encouragement to give good
influence to each other.
