Cathodic Electro Deposited Coating (CED)
Cathodic Electro Deposited Epoxy Coating plants are more compact, more relevant plants, more environment
friendly that cost a fraction of what the larger plants cost.

CED coating plants ranging from 600 litres to 50000 litres. Even the customized larger plant of 50 KL capacity come
at a much lower than the conventional cost

Cathodic Electro Deposited Coating is used extensively in the automotive industry. In this process, the component
after phosphate pre-treatment is dipped in the bath of (paste & emulsion) CED chemicals and given an electric charge.
The coating gets deposited on the component. The component is removed from the bath, washed and then baked. This
is water based paint.

A complete CED system consists of the following Process Sequence:

It also requires the following auxiliary equipment:

The CED line will consist of the following stages:

 CED
 Permeate rinse 1
 Permeate rinse 2
 DI water rinse
 It will also have pre filtration, ultrafiltration, chiller, rectifier and anolyte system.

For the SME segment the square transfer type system is the most economical. This is also popularly called the
Transporter System or the Transporter Wagon. The products duly loaded on the jig are carried from one tank to the
other in a pre-programmed sequence and pre-defined time.

The oven can be electric, diesel or gas fired. The diesel or gas fired ovens are with stainless steel heat exchanger.
Forced convection is a must for the oven (EMT 165 Deg. C).

BELT–Formed steel slat, 5-3/4 in. x 1-1/2 in. x 7 BEARINGS–Sealed, pre-lubricated, self-aligning,

CHAIN–6 in. pitch bushed roller steel chain with 2 SPEED REDUCTION–Heavy-duty sealed worm
