1. AREA TO BE CLEANED

Entire playing area, entrance foyer, canteen and store room, office, meeting room, male,
female, and disabled toilets and associated corridor areas.

2. COMMENCEMENT OF WORK

On a date to be mutually agreed upon between the successful Tenderer and the Southern
Table Tennis Executive Committee but no later than one month after the acceptance of
Tender and shall extend for a period of twelve (12) calendar months.

3. HOURS OF WORK

The Centre will be cleaned weekly prior to and as near as practicable to, the first match
night of every week. During the term of the Contract there may be occasions when
additional cleaning will be required and other occasions when no cleaning will be required.

Should the Contractor be unable, for any reason, to carry out or perform any of the
specified work he/she shall immediately advise the Secretary. In this event Southern Table
Tennis may employ another person or persons to complete the work and may deduct the
cost of doing so from any money due to the Contractor.

4. EXTENSION OF CONTRACT

This Contract may be extended for one further period of twelve (12) months by mutual
agreement between the Association and the Contractor.

5. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

This Contract may be terminated by either party giving to the other one month's notice in
writing to that effect, such notice to date from the first day of the month following the giving
of such notice.

6. DAMAGE

The Contractor shall be responsible for and shall immediately make good any damage to
the building or its contents caused by the wilful or negligent acts of the Contractor or his
employees.

7. MATERIALS

All equipment and cleaning materials to be supplied by the Association.

8. INSURANCE

The Contractor shall maintain their own Public Liability insurance policy and shall
indemnify the Association from all claims, demands, proceedings or actions.

9. PAYMENT

Payment will be made to the Contractor by monthly payments. Each payment will be made
on or within fourteen (14) days of the first day of each month; the first of such payments will
become due on the first day of the month following the commencement of work in this
Contract.

Monthly accounts should be sent to the Secretary at the above address or left at the
Association Centre.

10. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The following work shall be carried out:

WEEKLY

(1) Courtyard main entrance to be kept free of leaves and debris. Foyer entrance to be
swept cleaned. Dirt control mats to be taken outside and washed (with hose).

(2) Sweep entire area with dust control mops. Ensure that dust and fluff is removed
from under table tennis tables and that all barriers and centre aisle tables and chairs
are moved so that dirt is removed from all areas.

(3) Entire floor area to be washed including canteen floor.

(4) Chairs and tables in centre aisle to be kept clear of cobwebs.

(5) Clean off marks on walls.

(6) Centre aisle rubbish bins to be kept clean.

(7) Carpeted areas to be vacuumed

(8) Male, female and disabled toilets, shower and floor areas to be cleaned.

(9) Corridor to wet areas to be cleaned

MONTHLY

- Table tennis tables to be wiped over with clean slightly damp cloth.

- Wash canteen windows.

- Clean skirting boards.

- Building to be kept clear of cobwebs (easy access areas).

11. GENERAL

All lights shall be switched off on completion of cleaning.

The Contractor shall check that the security is activated on completion of cleaning.

All entrances to the building shall be secured on completion of cleaning.
