Application for Barangay Business Permit


Who may avail?

Stores or retailers with fixed business establishments within the barangay whose gross
sales or receipts for the preceding does not exceed P30,000.00 (Section 152a of RA7160).

What are the requirements?

 Duly accomplished Application for Barangay Business Permit Form


(Barangay Form 1);
 Duly accomplished Individual Record of Barangay Inhabitant Form (RBI
Form B), if applicable;
 Original and photocopy of Business name registration;
 Basis for computing taxes, fees and charges, eg. Business capitalization,
income tax returns, etc)
 Occupancy Permit, if required;
 Contract of Lease;
 Community Tax Certificate;
 Original copies of 2 valid government-issued ID;
 Authorization Letter, if thru authorized representative
 Presentation of valid ID and submission of photocopy of valid ID of
representative; and
 Payment of taxes, fees and charges

Application for Barangay Clearance
Who may avail?

a) Any business or activity located or conducted within the territorial jurisdiction of


the barangay before the city or municipality may issue a license or permit to said business
or activity (Section 152c of RA7160).

b) Barangay resident of more than 6 months.

What are the requirements?

 Duly accomplished Application for Barangay Clearance Form (Barangay


Form 2).
 Duly accomplished Individual Record of Barangay Inhabitant Form (RBI
Form B), if applicable.
 Community Tax Certificate;
 Original copies of 2 valid government-issued ID;
 Contract of Lease, if applicable;
 Authorization Letter, if thru authorized representative
 Presentation of valid ID and submission of photocopy of valid ID of
representative;
 Payment of clearance fees;
 Other requirements:

1 For construction-related permits


 Original and photocopy Real Property Tax Clearance (land,
improvement, machinery);
 Original and photocopy of Proof of ownership
(Original/Transfer Certificate of Title, Deed of Sale, etc);

Issuance of Community Tax Certificate
(with deputation from Local Treasurer)

Who may avail?

1. Individual liable to Community Tax – (1) Every inhabitants of the barangay


eighteen (18) years of age or over who has been regularly employed on a wage or salary
basis for at least thirty (30) consecutive working days during any calendar year; (2)
engaged in business or occupation; (3) owns real property with an aggregate assessed
value of one thousand pesos (P1,000) or more; and (4) is required to file an income tax
returns (Section 157 of RA7160).

2. Juridical persons liable to Community Tax – Every corporation no matter how


created or organized, whether domestic or resident foreign, engaged in or doing business
in the Philippines and owns real property with assessed value of Five Thousand Pesos
(P5,000.00) or more (Section 158 of RA7160).
