1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Need
In recent years, training has been given in many fields using augmented
reality[3]. One of the most important features of augmented reality is that it
gives the sense of reality. The computers and augmented reality based
trainings increase the power of expression and student performance. When
the existing studies in the literature are analyzed, it is seen that there are
many studies regarding the use of augmented reality in the field of
education.

2. LITERATURE SURVEYED
2.1 Literature Review
This paper follows a complete software module approach. The software module is
integrated with augmented reality devices in which users can activate image processing
modules optionally and monitor the changes in the image in real-timely.
In this paper, Virtual Reality (VR) applications developed by first year students during an
introductory class of the Integrated Masters in Civil Engineering are described.
Additionally, two trials concerning the application of VR and Augmented Reality (AR) to
Civil Engineering held at a local school (K-12 students) are also detailed.
This review paper has presented an introduction to and a definition of AR/VR. It also
briefly studies ongoing research and latest products in AR / VR, that have pedagogical
values and potentials to improve educational systems. It also highlights the capabilities
and limitations of AR / VR to identify what AR / VR can provide for learners and
teachers.
The current system uses a vision – based gesture recognition system. By focusing a
camera on a real page with a specific marker, a 3D virtual model will appear which can
be seen from the computer screen. The virtual models superimposed upon the real page
serves as an aid for understanding various concepts.

3. PROPOSED SYSTEM
3.1 System Block Diagram
We first explore a 3d model that is related to the subject (in this case
biology). Then the appropriate Image Target is chosen. The Image Target is
then scanned and stored in unity cloud. The target is then processed and we
can add animations and other effects to the model. After rendering the
module of the virtual object, the virtual model is displayed. We can also add
voice and descriptions related to the model.
1. Unity 3d
Unity is a game development which can be used to build high quality 2D
and 3D video games and simulations for computers, consoles and mobile
phones.
2. Blender
Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset
used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models,
interactive 3D applications and video games.
3. Android Visual Studio
Android Studio is the official integrated development environment (IDE)
for Android application development. It is based on the IntelliJ IDEA, a
Java integrated development environment for software, and incorporates
it’s code editing and developer tools.
5. IMPLEMENTATION
6. OUTPUTS
7. CONCLUSION
The idea proposes a general architecture of AR-based system for learning. The
virtual models are superimposed upon the real image which will serve as an aid for
learning the specific subject. The application provides learner with rich
information and more intuitive experience. It also provides opportunities to
increase students’ motivations. In addition, AR / VR allows the students to have
virtual experiences where traditional learning methods are impossible or
expensive. However, there are still some challenges for AR/ VR to be used by
most learners in the world. These technologies are in their infancy but they have a
great potential to overcome the barriers.
