DISCUSSION

As we know that the sidewalks are very important for pedestrians, especially for new students
at Medan State University. These facilities are provided by the university to provide comfort and
safety for every student, especially new students. But it is also not uncommon to see students
who are still breaking the rules, such as not walking on the sidewalks and on the contrary
pedestrians prefer to walk on the asphalt. This can cause events that we do not want because of
non-compliance with students in using facilities. Road irregularities can cause unexpected
accidents.

As we know, there are many bad effects if we do not obey the rules. The use of sidewalks that
are not used properly will cause an accident impact on students. This regulation does not only
apply to UNIMED students but also to all residents of Medan state universities

This regulation is made for the safety of the pedestrians and also the people around. We as
students must obey them, by following the rules set by the university Why? Because the
sidewalk or pedestrian pathway has been provided by the university for the security and safety
of pedestrians, especially students.

SOLUTION

In fact there are still many students, especially new students who do not obey the rules.
Therefore, socialization is very important, because with socialization students can remember
what rules must be implemented by them. Like the socialization of the use of facilities properly.
With this kind of socialization, new students can remember the rules. Second rule, make
warning signs around the road like a bar so that new students can see that the sidewalk is used
for pedestrians.
