Worship: We take time together to connect with God through 8:30am & 10:50am Morning Worship Services
song, scripture, fellowship, and prayer. Something special 9:45am Sunday School
happens we focus on God together. We invite you to stand and 4:45pm Choir Practice
sing with us as we praise God, but adopt whatever posture of 5:00pm Christmas Musical Practice
worship is best for you. The song lyrics and scriptures are 6:00pm Evening Worship
projected on screen so that you can follow along. A typical service
lasts about 65 minutes.
Children: We have a fully-staffed Nursery for ages three and
below. Kids ages 4-12 will be dismissed during the service to the NURSERY WORKERS

Church of the Nazarene Memorial Roll arrive at 10:00am. If you are interested in attending this event,

cost of placing someone on the Memorial Roll is $75. Memorial
Roll Certificates will be presented on All-Saints Sunday,
November 3rd.
The Memorial Roll, established in 1919, is a way to honor
deceased friends and loved ones. A certificate is issued in the New study beginning
name of the person memorialized and presented to a family in the
member. All monies received go towards the cost of health
Women’s Sunday School Class
insurance for our missionaries serving in the field.

What is Alabaster Offering? All ladies are welcome to attend.
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around
the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of Meets in room next to fellowship hall

God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry
help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry
efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends
to "put down roots." Alabaster funds help provide land for many Work &
Witness projects, and the entire Alabaster Offering goes toward the
purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical
facilities, and homes for missionaries and national
workers.
Alabaster Boxes are available
on the missions table in the hallway.

Annual Community Outreach Event
Start planning now. We want as many cars as possible to participate.
We also need candy and cash donations. A donation bin is available in
the foyer for candy. You may place your check or cash in the offering
plate marked “Trunk ‘N Treat”.

Did you know… .that churches and religious charities are being pressured -
sometimes even forced - to disregard their faith in hiring situations? The U.S.
Department of Labor (DOL) has proposed a new pro-religious liberty rule to
protect churches and religious charities from being forced to hire outside their
faith. This means if an atheist applies for a position at your church, your church
would not be forced by law to hire them. It is crucial for faith-based
organizations to be able to hire individuals of like beliefs and protect their
mission from being undermined. That sacred right must be protected. Christian
organizations are filing legal comments with the DOL in support of the new rule
to defend the hiring practices of religious organizations.
