CMS Software Release Notes

This document is to inform that a new version of CMS software has been released by
NOJA Power Switchgear.

This document provides information about CMS Version 3.7.1 software. The latest information
regarding features, enhancements and software fixes is included in this document.

List of implemented features:

- Implemented a four level user access system.
- Implemented a password recovery system.
- FTP protocol for download of oscillography comtrade files over remote connections
(read only).
- IEC 61850 download of oscillography comtrade files using FTP protocol
- Implemented changes to CMS to avoid a Microsoft bug which causes crashes to occur
after updating to latest Windows 10 build.
- Bug fixes and other improvements.

NOTE: When CMS is run for the first time after upgrade or installation, the user will be asked to
answer a few questions that will verify the user if password recovery is required. Please
remember the answers to these questions so the password can be recovered if you forget it.
Known Issues:
- It is recommended to restart the PC after an upgrade of CMS has been performed to
ensure any changes to the NOJA drivers are made successfully.
- In certain situations there may be some issues installing the new USB driver and there
may problems connecting to a device. Please contact NOJA for support.

Compatibility Statement:

This version of CMS is compatible with Relay version 1.5.1.0 or higher.

CMS V2.0 or higher supports Automatic Updates. Complete installation package or upgrade
only also can be downloaded from the NOJA Power Service website from the following location:
https://secure.nojapower.com/. User Name and Password are required to access
secure website.
