Course Code : Management 103
Course Title : Human Resource Management
Course Description :

The course deals on the principal and techniques of human resources management and employee-employer
relationships. It deals with the operative functions of human resource management in the 21st century, acquisition of human
resources, development of human resources and human resources management in changing a world. This course also
includes application of Human Resource Management to actual business setting through case analysis. The course topics
are presented through modules. Teacher-made assignments will be given in every module.

Credit : 3 units
Pre-requisites(s) : Mgt102

VI. EXPEXCTATIONS FROM STUDENTS

Students are expected to:


1. Come to class well prepared and participate in the class discussion and other related activities.
2. Take all quizzes and examinations on the date scheduled.
3. Present the assign topics on time

5. Treat faculty and classmates with respect and courtesy.

VII. POLICY

Academic Dishonesty
All students are expected to be academically honest. Cheating, lying and other forms of unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
Any student found guilty of cheating in any assignment, quiz, examination or plagiarism in submitted course requirement will
receive a grade of 5.0 or failure in the said quiz or examination or plagiarism in course requirement.

Absence and Tardiness


The University policy on absences and tardiness is hereby adopted.

Personal Devices
Unless authorized by the professor, use of cell phone, laptop, tablet and other similar devices inside the classroom is prohibited.

Quiz and Major examination


Quiz may be announced or unannounced, while major examination is always announced. Major examination shall be department
with the following distribution of degree of difficulty of questions: 60% or 70% easy, 30% or 20% average and 10% difficult, as
the case maybe. Special quiz and examination is given if a student can present to the department valid reasons, otherwise no
special quiz or examination shall be given.

Seat Plan
A seat plan shall be adopted. Any student not in his/her designated seat shall be considered absent.

Dress Code
The university dress code is hereby adopted. In the case of management major students, wearing of their prescribed uniform shall
be mandatory.

Submission of Course Requirements, if any


All course requirements, if any, shall be submitted on the date scheduled, otherwise the professor may at his discretion refuse to
accept such requirements. If a professor would accept late course requirement, points at a rate 10 points per day of delay shall be
deducted.

Conduct of Course Requirement, if any


Any course requirement that shall require fieldwork shall be done inside the campus, unless there is a compelling need to do the
same outside the campus. The compelling need shall be determined by the department after the student, thru his professor who
shall then make a request. No fieldwork shall be done unless approved by the department. Department guidelines in the conduct of
course requirement shall be adopted.

Others
The university code of conduct on matter not covered on this instructional guide shall be adopted.
