Project Qatar WORKSHOP SERIES

Reflecting its commitment to innovation, IFP Qatar LLC – in collaboration with the
Qatar Chamber of Commerce – launched in 2015 the “Project Qatar Workshop
Series” that included 8 successful workshops, which promoted the education and
commercial aspects of the construction industry.
The workshops informed participants about the latest technology, industry advances and rising
themes, and were conducted by governmental and semi-governmental bodies such as the Public
Works Authority (Ashghal) and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.

The Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC)
is a state-of-the-art venue located at the heart of the
Qatari capital.
The DECC includes five column-free halls spreading
over 30,000 square meters and contains a main foyer,
bistros, public restrooms, prayer rooms, a loading
zone, storage, circulation space, and a car park in
the basement that can accommodate nearly 5,000
vehicles and a multi-function hall.
Located in the heart of Doha, in the lively West Bay
area, the DECC is easily accessible from several
routes and will be connected to the Sheraton Park
through an underground tunnel that will bring visitors
to the naturally crescent-shaped Doha Corniche. The
venue is also located 15 minutes away from Hamad
International Airport and from the majority of hotels.
