I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text
types serve as means of valuing other people; also how to use processing information
strategies, different forms of adverbs and conditionals for him/her to play an active part in
a Chamber Theatre presentation.
B. Performance Standard The learner proficiently plays an active part in a Chamber Theatre presentation through
employing effective verbal and non- verbal strategies based on the following criteria:
Focus, Voice, Delivery, Facial Expressions, Style and Body Movements or Gestures.

B. Establishing a purpose for the To introduce the learner to the subject matter,have them play a game called Your
lesson Picture Sounds Familiar. The learners have to identify the pctures on the board and
try to find out the word it represents by combining the names of each pictures.
Discuss the definition and the four main ways of constructing conditional sentences.

present simple verb), (subject + present simple verb)

2. Type 1 Conditional (Unreal But Likely) - possible or likely things in the future, (if +
subject + present simple verb), (subject + will + verb).
If you stick your fingers into the fire, you will burn yourself.
If you stuck your fingers into the fire, you would need medical attention.
4. Type 3 Conditional (Unreal Condtion) - things that did not happen in the past and
have their imaginary result; (if + subject + past perfect), (subject + would + have + past
participle)
If you had stuck your hand into the fire, you would have needed medical attention.
