INTRODUCTION:
Unemployment has been and continues to be one of the most serious problems our country is
facing. The problem gets more complex when the ‘employability’ factor is also getting
incorporated. We thus face a situation where both unemployment and ‘non availability ‘of suitable
candidates are co-existing! Hence, we need to enhance the ‘employability’ of the candidates for
making them fit for various available jobs. The significance and relevance of Pre- Recruitment
Training (PRT) comes in this context.

WHY PRT?

There are many competitive examinations in India, which are the gateway for getting job in
different Government and private organizations. Large numbers of youth appear for these exams
every year. Youth belongs to rural area find difficulties in clearing exams due to lack of knowledge,
practice, and now a days mostly due to Digital Divide. Those who belongs to urban area or those
who are able to pay the fees to the coaching institute, get the knowledge, and do the practices for
the forthcoming exams, while those who belongs to rural area or those who are unable to pay the
fees of coaching institutions unable to gain knowledge, unable to do practices for exams, this
results in no selection in exams.
After discussion with youth from different areas, backgrounds and in consultation with different
experts of different competitive examinations National Youth Networks planned to organise
different Pre-Recruitment Training (PRT) for the youth of NTPC Hazaribag command area.

Examination for Which PRT will be Organise:

Ø Uniformed Services (ARMY, NAVY, AIR-FORCE) : 10th and 12th level entry
Ø SSC: Paramilitary forces GD Exam (CRPF, SSB, ITBP, CISF, BSF)

Methodology:
Ø First we will do assessment of all applicants
Ø As per level of Participants we will divide them in group, then training will be imparted
Ø Daily Lecture and Problem Solving Session (to clear the doubt)
Ø Personal feedback sessions
Ø Speed Tests to assess the level of understanding
Ø Course material will be provided

Ø Ms. Nidhi Mishra: Reasoning Expert: IBPS and SSC exams
Ø Mr. Alok Kumar: Maths Expert: IBPS and SSC exams
Ø Mr. Ravi Raj (PO, UBI): English Expert: IBPS and SSC
Ø Dr. P.K Jha, (Dy. Chief UEGB) PD and Interview Expert All Exams
Ø Mr. Satish Suman: Ex. Officer, LAbour Employment and Training Dept. Govt. of Jh.
Ø Mr. Pankaj Tiwari: Rtd. Army Man

Many others available locally and provided by UEGB and CGC

 Courses and Durations:

1. For Uniformed Services: 40 days

2. For SSC: 40 days
** 30 days written, 10 days’ test and Physical Fitness

Selection of participants:

Ø Minimum 10th pass

Ø Minimum Physical standard should be a basic criterion
Ø For SSC: +2 Level youth with good physical status will be selected

Total Number of Participants:

Ø 5000 initially, divided into 100 batch
