4 Check if “ServerWorks (RCC) CNB20-HE Processor to AGP Controller” and “ServerWorks (RCC)

Installation instructions
This is only needed if not using the hp preload or Recovery CD.

1 Extract Files
2 Apply GART files
3 Confirm Installation
Installation steps
Extract “GART_HE.EXE” to “C:\drivers\graphics\gart_he”
Browse to “C:\drivers\graphics\gart_he”.
Run “Q258079.exe”. When the software finishes installing
click “OK” to reboot the system.
Open “Computer Management” then “Device Manager”. Click
the box next to “System Devices”.
Confirm that “ServerWorks (RCC) CNB20-HE Processor to
AGP Controller” and “ServerWorks (RCC) CNB20-HE
Processor to PCI Bridge” are present.
Double click “ServerWorks (RCC) CNB20-HE Processor to AGP
Controller” and select the “Driver” tab.
Click on the “Driver Details…” button.
Check the “File Version:” is 5.00.2195.2104

System requirements and dependencies

Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 is required.

Software deployment guidelines

There is no need to use this software if the system is running the hp preload or Recovery CD for
Windows 2000. This software is mandatory if Windows 2000 was not installed from the hp
preload or using the Recovery CD.

Uninstallation instructions
Do not uninstall this software.
