story or in a poem. We call it Imagery.

Imagery- relates to our five senses

in the story or poem

G. Evaluation

The teacher will instruct the students to


bring out their copies of Gorgon’s Head.

Have a group of five for the activity

A. Instruct them to look for the images


assign in their group

Let a member of the group to clap his hands


if they found an example in the story.

Group 3- Olfactory
Group 4- Gustatory
Group 5- Tactile

B. The teacher will show some sentences


with imagery then let each group
identify the imagery used. Instruct the
students not to say any word, rather to
make a sign in giving their answer.
IV-Assignment
Class research the poem I Wonder Lonely As a Cloud by William Wordsworth. Spot the
imagery used in the poem
