ASSIGNMENT NO. 3: SLOPE-DEFLECTION METHOD

Determine the moments at B and C, then draw the moment diagram. Assume A, B, and C
are rollers and D is pinned. EI is constant.

ASSIGNMENT NO. 4: APPROXIMATE ANALYSIS

Determine (approximately) the force in each member of the truss. Assume the diagonals can
support either a tensile or compressive force.
