to create a fold line through the center of each petal. 1 2 3. Fold each petal so that the fold points upward and each petal edge points down- ward. Pierce a hole in the center of each flower.
4. Fold and pierce all nine
flowers. 3 4 5. Place adhesive around the center hole on the top of one of the large flowers.
6. Place a second large flow-
er on top of the first, turn- ing it so that the petals alternate. Press together to
5 set the adhesive.
6 7. Place adhesive around the center top of the second flower. Place a large flower on top, again alternating the petals and pressing together. Repeat for the fourth large flower.
8. Continue layering and ad-
hering the four medium flow- 7 ers on top of the assembled stack of large flowers. 8 9. As before, place adhesive around the center hole on top of the last medium flower. Place the one small flower on top of the stack, alternating the petals and pressing to set the adhesive.
10. Use a paper piercer to
widen and clear the center 9 hole as needed for the stem and brad. 10 11. Prepare a stem if you plan to display your flower on a stem. (See the separate tutorial on wire stems.)
12. Insert the wire stem and
brad through the center hole on the top side of the flow- er. Flatten the brad on the 11 bottom of the flower. 12 13. Bend petals upward around the brad.
