At the end of the lesson, 75 % students should be able to:
a. Discuss risk and protective factors in substance use, and abuse.
b. Appreciate risk and protective factors.
c. State personal opinions, what preventing drug use and abuse.

III. Procedure
A. Preparation

B. Review/Motivation
Ask the students about, what they have learned about last topic.
C. Activity
The teacher will present picture and students will go to analyze and give their
ideas to those picture.
1. What do the picture represent?
2. What do you know about drugs and drug abuse?
D. Analysis
The students will answer the following.
1. What do you know about drug abuse?
2. How can you tell if someone is a drug user?
E. Abstraction
The student will be going to do the individual activity,” Lets watch a movie” they
will go to answer the following question.
F. Application
Individual Activity: Lets watch a Movie!
You are going to watch about drug abuse to aware you. (Ask the students what
they have learned about drug of abuse).
G. Generalization
1. From viewing, cite the factors that encourage someone who has tried a
drug to keep on taking it to the point where they can’t stop?
2. How much do you really about why people become addicted to drugs,
whether marijuana can be medicine, and what cause a hangover?
IV. Evaluation
A. TRUE OR FALSE. Write TRUE if the statement is TRUE and FALSE if it is FALSE.
1. Stimulants, depressant, hallucinogens, narcotics and inhalants are drugs of
abuse.
