Use adverb of manner in narration.

A. Topic: Adverbs of manner
B. Concepts:
Adverb is a word used to modify a verb, an adjective or another adverb. Adverb of
manner modify verbs, i.e., they rell how an activity is done or the manner of an action.
Students need simply to ask the question “how?” in order to recognize an adverb of manner.
The suffix “-ly” on most adverbs is added at the end of an adjective. However, not all adverbs of
manner (well, fast)have an “-ly” suffix.

We have different kinds of adverbs, but we will only study one type today. It is called
“Adverbs Of Manner”.(explain to students that adverbs of manner tell us how something is
done or how someone does something. They usually come after the verb they describe.
