CATCHIN THE HOLY GHOST

The first time I heard the expression "catchin the Holy Ghost" was spoken
out of the mouth of a gangster/bank robber in the movie "Jason's Lyric."
Sitting at an an outdoor carnival in the dead of night while listening to a
gospel choir singing about Jesus, this outlaw momentarily turned his
attention to his hood crew to discuss his next crime. When he was done
talking, with sarcasm the character retorted:, "Move out of my way. Can't
you see that I'm tryin to "CATCH" the Holy Ghost?"

By the time I watched "Jason's Lyric" starring Jada Pinkett, I had already been in
ministry for quite a few years and had not yet heard the expression. However, once heard,
it stuck with me. Why? Because it was an appropriate metaphor for what I have seen
happen in congregate worship settings for years. Its like an invisible spiritual ball is thrown
from one worshipper to another and once CAUGHT, its "catching" sets off a communal
emotional outburst that is difficult to describe other than by what black folk call "shoutin."
One by one, --sometimes two by two---worshipers leaped out of their seats and strutted
what is called "the Holy Dance" with such precision and grace that I often said to myself "I
wish the Lord would pick ME up out of MY seat and cause ME to dance like that!"

It never happened. I thank God that it did not!!!

"Catchin the Holy Ghost," as its called, is like those "caught" are mesmerized, under the
influence of a delirium, in a state of communal intoxication. This "catchin," is at a high pitch
of intensity---shouting, stomping, wailing, screaming, rolling on the floor, falling slain,
leaping up and speaking in tongues, running around the church in sheer abandon, with
some entering into a state that looks like they are having a seizure. This pandemonium is
justified by taking a scripture out of its natural context which READS, "be not drunk with
wine but be filled with the Holy Ghost." My understanding of this scripture is NOT that Paul
is saying that being filled with the Holy Spirit is akin to being drunk. On the contrary, Paul
also warns in yet another scripture that we must BE SOBER because of the constant activity
of our adversary.

While in church, I watched all of this with some suspicion, primarily because when I looked
at the fruit, I didn't see any for Christ among people who "caught the Holy Ghost" the most.
However, I did not firmly know that this was the devil until I left the organized church and
began to conduct deliverance counseling. Counseling captives is what ACTUALLY opened
my eyes.

In summary of numerous cases, though manifestations varied, the root causes are the
same. Tormented people today who arrived at various altars years ago have never really
been saved. I'm ALSO remembering cases where confessions of faith were made listening
to radio or TV broadcasts. Most responded to a "come on down to the altar and receive the
Holy Ghost." Those who responded to the call who did NOT come to the cross, knew

nothing of repentance and did not understand the expression, "Jesus was raised from the
dead," Because "a feeling" came on their flesh, they believe that they "caught the Holy
Ghost," However, what they have CAUGHT is a religious demon.

This is the deadly, damnable thing. Without knowing it, they have not been worshiping
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. They have been worshiping an imposter god, a fallen angel, who
calls himself "Jesus Sananda Immanuel." It is Sananda and his dominion of evil entities
whom the un-informed have been "catchin." They are not both caught and TRAPPED.
Those who the Holy Ghost intends to save yet responded to the wrong god actually grieved
Him. They are locked tight in Sananda's grip because of religiosity.

The Lord declared, “I will bring such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever
heareth it both his ears shall tingle. And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria,
and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jesusalem as a man wipeth a dish,
wiping it, and turning it upside down.” (II Kings 21:12,13)

The vast majority of my clients for deliverance counseling have not only been wiped and
turned over like a dish, those severely tormented have disclosed that their ears ACTUALLY
TINGLED!!!. At first, I assumed the ear tingling was a demonic sign. Perhaps in His great
disdain for charismatic occultism, the tingling of the ears is God Himself, reacting to present
day idolatry.

The primary strategy of religious fallen angels is to build a solid, seemingly impregnable
bridge between its target’s propensity towards a need to FEEL SOMETHING ON HIS OR HER
FLESH and a rather intricate, intersecting freeway of clever counterfeits of the divine
presence and operations of God. With subtle suggestions, frequent, almost constant dreams
and visions, with outstanding predictions of the future, particularly ministry, the goal is to
cause the target to renounce God and the Christian faith once NONE of what was believed to
have come from God actually comes to pass.

PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS OF A FORMER DIVINER (An excerpt from "THE NEW

IDOLATRY)

This very strategy was used on me. With clever counterfeits of the Holy Ghost, religious
demons had me in a spiritual noose. Since I believe that God has released strong delusion
in the 70’s, I simply got swept into the trap along with other Christians, too numerous to
fathom a count. As Paul warned the Thessalonians, strong delusion will cause even God’s
elect to believe a lie. Since I was a psychic prior to my salvation, believing a lie was made
easy. What is virtually impossible is to become “un-deceived” once ensnared. Yet, I am
living proof that with God, “all things are possible” After almost 3 decades, I successfully
escaped, with my faith in Jesus Christ stronger than ever. I believe that I have been
victorious because of my love for the truth and the fact that I do not judge success and
failure by the standards of the world.

Once saved in 1977, my charismatic deception began in the early 80’s when I was
introduced to the ministries of the two Kenneths: Hagin and Copeland. These two men
provided what seemed to be biblical explanations to some of the strange supernatural
manifestations that I had already experienced, particularly travailing in the spirit. A power
often gripped my spirit, brought me to my knees, where I wailed, moaned, groaned and
sobbed out a river of tears while my mind was totally unaware of how or why these strange
happenings occurred. Once I began to seriously study the audio taped messages of Hagin
and Copeland and several others along the way, these teachers provided the confirmation
that I believed I was looking for. I met both men face to face at their meetings. In the Hagin

meeting of 1982 in Albany NY, I began to speak in tongues.

It is difficult to describe what I experienced. Inside my body, in the chest area, I felt like
something inside of me flipped, twisted and turned. When the manifestations were
particularly strong, water flowed from my eyes. Sometimes the feeling was so intense that I
could not speak or even stand. Most of the time, I was bent over. For too many years, I was
led to believe that this inner turmoil was God’s way of saying “Yes! Go for it. I’m with you,
Pam. This is God. Don’t resist, but just experience this flow of My Spirit.” I accepted every
chill and goose bump as a sign of what I believed to be “a quickening of the Spirit.”

I also believed that I had a healing anointing because my hands often tingled and burned.
Other times, it felt like I was electrified, as if struck by a bolt of lightening. For example, any
time I stood in a circle holding hands on each side of me, I’d feel pain in my hands. The
feelings in the hands caused me to function like a barometer, able to tell by touching if a
person was demonized. Through charismatic teachings, I believed that “the feeling” was
simply a manifestation of the gift of “discerning of spirits.”

When I laid hands on people to be released from their affliction, their pain left their bodies
and I could feel it enter my hands. When I declared such persons healed, most of the time,
they were. There were also other times when I predicted the future and I was correct. This is
the classic trick of the enemy to trap a Charismatic by the truth so that he or she will
continue to ignorantly practice divination.

My eyes began to open in 2003 when one of my predictions did not come to pass. To make a
long story short, I was hoping to reconcile with my husband even though his behavior was
an obvious fact that he no longer loved me. One day, while sitting at the computer, the
quickening of chills, goose bumps, eyes pouring out water, inner flips and tightness began,
regarding my husband’s love for me. With this experience came a sentence: “ Your
husband’s love for you is so strong, that you can have faith in it, as you have faith that the
sun will also rise tomorrow. So trust in him.”

By 2004, my husband was deeply in love with another woman. Consequently, for the first
time, I began to question the source of the supernatural manifestations upon my flesh. With
each question, the Lord answered me and I was finally completely un-deceived, fully
released from demonic deception. In fact, I rarely hear from demons and devils these days.

My autobiographical work, “Come Out of Her, God’s People” provides the details of how I
escaped charismatic witchcraft and New Age occultism. In retrospect, what I believe kept me
stuck in charismatic witchcraft were various incidents where I predicted events and
situations that actually transpired. The most outstanding tool of my deliverance was the
book “War on the Saints” by Jessie Penn Lewis. Unfortunately, countless of God’s elect
have not yet escaped. It concerns me that too many have even died, still deceived. In this
very hour, Christian women and some men continue to bombard heaven’s gates with
prayers and fastings focused on a particular person as the “God sent one” to be their future
spouses. It’s a trap of the enemy.

In every single case that I am aware of, every little coincidence about the “intended” served
as a flashing sign from heaven that a casual acquaintance would culminate in a happy
marriage, where the couple would serve the Lord together in ministry. Moreover, divination
in the form of dreams and prophetic words received from charismatic Christians were
accepted and believed to be confirming signs. In most cases, those who anchored their faith
in these kinds of predictions experienced devastating disappointment that shipwrecked
their faith in Jesus Christ. In fact, demonic mockery is evident in several cases where “the

intended” actually married someone else. Most of the emotional outcomes are tragically the
same, including and not limited to severe depression, anger at God, and blasphemous
thoughts and utterances.

So I know from personal experience that Charismatic practitioners are skilled at minimizing
the similarities between divination and divine biblical prophecy, either intentionally or
ignorantly blinded by the essential and radical differences between the two. Once born
again, I came out of the New Age Movement in a few short years. Quite the reverse, it took
me a few decades to realize that my former lust for supernatural information detrimentally
served as a hindrance to my personal faith in God’s care and provision. Whether from God
or from a religious devil assigned to me, I did not actually ask or seek supernatural
knowledge, but once it was obtained, I most definitely savored it. From personal experience,
I know without a doubt that those who desire such power are susceptible to demonic
deception. With supernatural experience as an overall charismatic expectation, it is
predictable that counterfeits will continue to flourish.

God’s displeasure with both black and white magic is graphically set forth in the old
testament. As one who loved secret knowledge, nothing but the grace of God protected me
from the plagues of both my occult activity prior to being saved and decades of charismatic
teaching. As Charismatics perceive themselves as a spiritual army who are taking the
kingdom of God by force, intelligent thought and “common sense” no longer play any part
in the way they consider their situation. Objectivity and rationalism have been discarded and
replaced by a dependence on emotion, sensation and even hysteria. Like those who seek
psychics, astrologers and other occult prognosticators, Pentecostals, Charismatics and
those who are "word of faith," have become prophecy addicts who live in anticipation of the
next word.

In the midst of crowds of gatherers, people come to be led by shamanistic men and women
who know how to “turn them on” with just a wave of a hand. On more than one occasion, I
watched in amazement as a well known TV evangelists ordered apparently sensible people
to turn to their neighbor and with a wave of their hand, shake their neighbor’s problems
away. To watch the people immediately obey without thinking at all was a scary thing
indeed. Any one with a sound mind would know that problems do not “fly away” by a wave
of the hand. The scary part is that mega-evangelists Kenneth Copeland and the late Kenneth
Hagin have told congregations to bark like dogs and cluck like chickens, and I have seen
youtube video clips of these services, where bedlam broke out with barking and clucking.
I’ve seen some women in these clips, curl up in their seats like pythons or cobras.

AN UN-EARTHLY DRIVER!

About 7 years ago, I personally put my life in danger with one who had claimed that she
"caught the Holy Ghost" in a pentecostal church. Ann made a desperate phone call to me,
indicating that she was being tormented by demons that were forcing her to eat out of
garbage cans. A gluttonous demon threatened that he would make her gain 700 pounds.
She reported that she had gained 50 in two months. So under pressure, Ann had a lot of
importunity as she immediately got on a bus and travelled 3 hours to meet with me. An
intelligent woman with a Masters degree in her chosen field, we met in her hotel room upon
her arrival. After a few hours of counseling, I decided to transport her to the place where I
usually cast out demons. To my amazement, while on route, Ann reached out and grabbed
my steering wheel as I was driving about 65 miles an hour. While I struggled to maintain
control of my vehicle, I rebuked the demon and Ann finally leaped back to her seat on the
passenger's side of the car.

Then Ann casually leered at me with a mocking, demonic grin, composed and aloof---
declaring "the demons are just showing off. They want you to know that they are going to
put on a show for you when you try to cast them out."

Well, they did put on quite a show. They certainly mocked me. Why? I didn't know the
reason then. Since Ann was my first failure at deliverance, at the time I thought that the
enemy sent her to me to try and discourage me. Now I realize that it was NOT the enemy.
God knew that 7 years later, I would know the truth. The reason why Ann's deliverance was
a failure is because Ann would not renounce her "catchin the Holy Ghost" experience . You
see, Ann had responded to an altar call to catch the Holy Ghost by chanting, "Jesus, Jesus,
Halleluiah, Halleluia." She believed that since she spoke in tongues at the close of what is
called "a tarrying session," that she is saved. Yet she never repented, nor did she believe on
the resurrection because she did not understand it.

My counseling notes of Ann's background hold the answer. Almost immediately after this
chanting experience, the demonic oppression began and then proceeded to increase in
intensity until the demons were almost in complete control of her mind and her body. I
haven't heard from her in 7 years. However, unless she has denied and disavowed Jesus
Sananda Immanuel, she is STILL not saved and may STILL be tormented.

Each time I do this work with a new client, I am shocked by a new revelation. Yet, the
answers are always around me, slipping in and out of my conscious awareness. Some
answers are difficult for me to hold on to, primarily because they are so simple, almost too
obvious.

Here is the simple answer. The simple solution. Sananda must be denied and disavowed.
That's right. It is simple but its is also deep, profound and difficult. The
religious captive must deny all aspects of his or her religion, including "how they CAUGHT"
that demon. Because it was NOT the Holy Ghost that they "caught".

In fact, We don't "catch the Holy Ghost." He catches US in the midst of our sins and brings
us to the cross of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He puts the conviction in our spirits. He causes
us to feel what a sinner must feel to reach a state of godly sorrow. Then He drops into us
the faith to believe that a dead man GOT UP and is STILL alive, not just today but forever
more.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth, King of kings and Lord of lords is in control of ALL demons and
devils. They MUST BOW TO HIM!!! The reason that they DO NOT BOW is because they have
a right to hold captive ANYONE who is worshiping their god, Sananda. Once the captive
denies Sananda in ALL respects, then they are truly ready for the ministry of the Holy
Ghost.

THE DILEMMA IS THAT A CAPTIVE TO SANANDA CAN'T DENY him IF THE CAPTIVE
DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THAT THE FAKE JESUS EXISTS!

SPIRIT RAPE

In the year 2000, an African American charismatic believer sought

my help to be delivered from out of control sex with an invisible
being. I only met with her for two sessions, as she left New York

 State permanently. A striking element in this case is that a spirit
entity engaged in sex with the client on a continual basis. To
make it easier to explain, I'll give her a name. I'll call her "Eloise."

As an aside, Eloise's daughter Donna, also a word of

faith churchgoer, was in her early 20's at the time. Under severe
demonic attack, Eloise traveled to the deep south to seek the
help of an occult practitioner for Donna. However, while there,
Donna murdered her own son and was jailed for the crime. When
I met Eloise, her daughter had been incarcerated for about a year
or so.

By the time we met, Eloise was almost out of control. She shared
how a spirit entity would literally "take her" at any time, bringing
her to painful orgasm. In fact, this "spirit" was so bold, that
it seized her for sex at the same time that her husband was
attempting to do so. As she shared, suddenly her legs forcefully
spread open in the chair, right before my eyes , I watched
her thighs violently shake and tremble. I have never seen
anything like it before, or since.

Yet, over the years, more and more cases of spiritual rape have
been reported to me. The next set of cases was equally strange.
In point of fact, I have counseled far too many churchgoing
women who have acknowledged that spirit entities have
WARNING ! manifested physically and raped them. These cases have not
only baffled me, but they have led to a plethora of questions
and concerns about "what does all of this mean.?

For example, Sarah, a Caucasian Presbyterian minister had no

occult background. Unlike Eloise, witchcraft was not a factor.
Yet she too is raped while her husband sleeps beside her. While
Sarah was being attacked, her husband lay immobile, as in an
altered state of consciousness far deeper than normal sleep. A

Throughout the totality of the testimonies of Christian sexual

common theme that I have found to be consistent with UFO
messages to the unsaved, namely, “since we can have sex with
you, we can also procreate with you.” In their book “Alien
Encounters,” Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman provide important
clues to unraveling the underlying agenda of alien encounters as
they correspond with the demonic messages sent to professing
Christian women through witchcraft, religiosity, demonic
copulation and demonology:

“ Abductees who are taken from their rooms usually describe a

bright light outside and a humming noise. This is followed by an
encounter with hairless, tree to five foot tall, gray-skinned
entities. Abductees generally report the onset of paralysis and a
floating sensation. Many will report being subsequently floated
out of their house either through a window or in some cases
through the walls or through the roof to an awaiting alien craft.
Once inside the craft, abductees universally report some sort of
physical examination…..

Through telepathic communication, female abductees are told

that the procedure is being performed to retrieve ovum for the
purpose of reproduction. Many female abductees claim that after
an abduction they find incisions or scars on their lower abdomen
that were not present prior to the encounter. An anesthetic of
some kind is generally employed, and the details of the exam are
usually recalled under hypnotic regression….male abductees
often report procedures for the retrieval of sperm….According to
some researchers, the retrieval of sperm and ova and the
execution of ‘reproductive procedures’ seem to be central to the
abduction phenomenon.” (Missler and Eastman, pg. 106-107)

Quite understated, Paul prophetically warned Timothy that in the

last days, some professing Christians would depart from the
faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. The
public at large looks upon the Jim Jones and the mass suicide at
Guyana as an atypical disaster of a Christian cult, not endemic

 within or characteristic of the entire church system. Dramatic and
well publicized in the 70’s, no one realized that the entire
organized church would shortly become a cult.

A few years ago, I found a list of cults that had 500 professing
Christian churches on it. Yet Roman Catholicism, the mother of
the organized church and the cult of cults was not even included
on the list. Likewise, the more I studied, the more I realized that
Protestantism was simply a “different kind of cult” as well as the
rest of them. Klein and Spears have clearly sent the elect some
sober and extremely sound advice, “to come out of Her," with a
serious warning, quoted below:

“We need to run, not walk---as fast as we can and as far away as
we can get---from any devils and demons that masquerade as our
great God of the universe."
