Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
Gives the overview of the chosen study topic
Statement of Hypothesis
Optional, only applicable in experimental research
States the null hypotheses that require statistical testing
Theoretical Framework
You should be able to present the interconnectedness of the theories already written
about.
Definition of Terms
This section presents the important terms included in the title and the study that needs
to be made operational. The terms should be defined as it is used in this study.
Ex.
At Contact – give the operational definition; not based on the dictionary definition
You are expected to build on what has already been done on your area of study. In this
section, you are to present what other scholars have already written or researched about.
Chapter 3
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The introductory paragraph specifies and qualifies the type of research used. The
research process or flow of research may be presented here in a schematic diagram.
Research Design/Framework
Showcases the entire thesis process from the start to end
Reflected in a diagram to show the relationship of each section
Research Environment
Describes the locale/venue of the research
Includes a map, if necessary
Research Respondents
Describes the population and the sample to be surveyed
Provides reason for the selection of the population and sample
Describes the sampling method to be used and shows how the sample was derived
Research Instruments
Describes the instruments to be used in gathering data
Describes how the instruments were designed
Describes how the instruments will be pre-tested for validity and reliability
Research Procedures
Gathering of Data. Describes how primary and secondary data were collected.
Treatment of Data. Describes how the data were treated for meaning. Presents the
statistical tools used in treating the data.
Chapter 4
This part presents the data of the study with corresponding analysis. Effective data
presentation relies in the proper order and organization of topics and the use of different tools
to communicate the materials better.
Chapter 5
Presents the summary and findings of the study and possible recommendations
for action and implementation.
