DARTSTOCK USER GUIDE
Workspaces (Workspace Menu):

Workspaces are screen views that package useful information in a logical and intuitive manner and
available at the click of a Mouse. The following system defined workspaces are built in. In addition to pre-
defined, users can build their own custom workspaces
Smart: Displays the Market watch and for the selected symbol, users can view Market by Price,
Resistance and Support Levels and Trades (T & S).
Standard with Scanner: Displays the Market watch and for the selected symbol, users can view
Resistance and Support Levels and chart. At the bottom, Live Scanner and Trend scanner keep running

Multi watch 2 Advanced: Displays the 2 * Market watch and for the selected symbol, users can view
advanced charts, Resistance and Support Levels and Trades (T & S).
Advanced Chart Workspace: Displays the Market watch and for the selected symbol, advanced Chart in
a large window

Multi Charts 4 advanced: Displays the Market watch and 4 advanced chart windows. Users can drag
and drop symbols from the watch list into these 4 chart windows. For the selected symbol, users can also
view the Resistance and Support Levels below the watch list window.
Multi Time frame Charts: Displays the Market watch and for the selected symbol, 4 different chart
windows in 4 different time frames (Example: intra-day, 3 Months, 1 year, 3 years), Time & sales and
Resistance & Support Levels

Spread Watch Workspace: Displays the Spread watch, Market watch and for the selected symbol, users
can view Market by Price and Snap Quote.

Tools Menu:
Live Scanner: Scans the Market for new highs and lows for the periods selected by the user and
displays the symbols meeting these criteria with the new values. Users can select multiple periods and
results can be filtered by Watch list Group.
Trend Scanner:
It Scans the Market for symbols showing Bullish and Bearish trends or OI trend. Users can select from
any of the six Bullish and bearish trends defined.

Market Dynamics: Provides a granular view of the Live Market breadth filtered by Watch list group.
Users can click on the desired bar to see the stocks encapsulated within
Market Breadth: Displays the number of symbols advancing, declining and unchanged by Exchange-
Segment. The corresponding Volume and Turnover are also shown to give the correct perspective
Market Meter: Provides color graded and sorted view of all the symbols of the desired Watch list group
based on the user selected criteria. The criteria includes: Change%, Total Volume, Range, Range%,
Spread and Spread%.

R and S Symbol Watch: This watch list displays all symbols breaching resistance or support levels. User
can select daily, weekly or monthly and filter results by Watch list Group. The symbols move in and out of
the watch list dynamically based on above criteria
Intra-day recovery and fall: This watch list will show the symbols that have recovered most from intra-
day low and fallen most from intra-day high.
Open Vs High and Low: This watch list Shows symbols whose High equals open or low equals open

Top Gainers and Losers (Live): This tool shows the top gainers and losers by % change, by change
value and Top traded by Volume and Value
Top Gainers and Losers (History): This tool shows the top % gainers and losers for Week to date,
month to date, Quarter to date, year to Date, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year and from the last expiry
to date

Bulk / Block Deals: Bulk / Block deals for the previous trading session are shown here. Users can also
query Bulk / Block deals for a specific period.

Gross Delivery data: Users can view the Gross Delivery data for the previous trading session
along with price change and OI change. Users can also query historical GDD for a specific
symbol
Recent FII activity: Recent FII and DII activity along with totals for the past 5 days, Last month,
current month and Current year is displayed here

Market Turnover: Near-Time Total and index-wise Market Turnover for Equity can be viewed here.
Users can also view historical turnover by week, month, quarter and Year
Indices – Resistance & Support Levels: Resistance & Support Levels for all Indices can be
seen here

Indices Performance: For 1week, 1 month, 3months, 6 months and 1 year can be seen here.
Announcements: Exchange announcements can be seen here near-time.
Board Meetings: Board meetings for the day, next day and Forthcoming are listed here. Uses can
directly add these stocks to the watchlist

FNO Analysis:
Action in Futures: Symbols trading in F & O Segment that are witnessing Long Build up, Short Build up,
Short covering and Profit Booking can be seen here in a single window.
Live Scanner Futures: Scans for new highs and lows for all Futures.

Roll Over: Live % Roll over for all Scrips trading in F & O Segment is displayed here
Future Spreads: Live % Spreads between Near & Spot, Near & Next, Next & Spot along with volumes
can be seen for all Equity Symbols in the Watch list

F&O Worksheet: View a Snapshot of Trading Volumes Vis-à-vis 1week and 1month average
along with change in OI and % change in Price for all F&O Symbols
Most Bullish & Bearish: View the most bullish & Bearish symbols by premium and discount
Open Interest Gainers and Losers: View the top OI gainers and losers based on combined
Futures

Detailed Quote: Provides both Live, derived and analytical data about the selected symbol
MBP: Shows the Snap quote and 5 levels of Market by Price for the selected Symbol

Resistance and Support levels: Displays the Resistance and Support levels for the selected Cash
Market symbol with color coded indication of the levels breached
Futures: Shows all the active future contracts of the selected underlying Cash Market Symbol
Option Chain: Shows the nearest 20 Call and Put Options for the selected underlying Cash Market
Symbol. Some useful analytical tools and filtering options are also provided in this window

Time & Sales: Shows all the trades of the selected symbol with an option to view the live VWAP
Time & Sales Filter: Trades of the selected symbol can be filtered by price, time and qty range
Time & Sales Summary: Shows the all the trades of the selected symbol aggregated at different price
levels with Quantity

Time & Sales Summary: Shows OHLC for the selected aggregated by the time interval. It also shows
the Aggregate qty, Aggregate value and Average price in the time interval
Time & Sales Summary: Users can set price, Volume and % change alerts with personalized alert pop-
up messages. All alerts will be listed under alert management window
52week Meter: Shows where the symbol is trading now vis-à-vis the 52 week high and Low

Peer Group Workspace: For the selected Symbol, the Dashboard will show all the peers with 1year,
Ytd,1month performance.
Detailed Group Workspace: For the selected Symbol, the Dashboard will show detailed quote,
Bulk/Block deals history, Gross delivery data history, Announcement history

Trading Related:
Buy & Sell Order Forms: User can select Normal, cover or AMO orders and place Buy (F1) or Sell (F2)
order. The form can be invoked from Symbol right click or from the Trade Menu apart from Function keys
Spread Order Entry: User can place Spread and Multileg order entries using this form.
Cover Order Entry: Users can place Cover order Buy or sell by selecting the Cover order Radio button.
The Trigger price can be entered at the section at the bottom

Basket Orders: Users can save Buy or sell orders into a Basket and later send them for execution –
single or multiple at one go. Basket is cleared end of each day
Order Book (F3): User can see all the open orders of the day here. Users can filter orders based on a
combination of criteria. Users can perform various actions like Modify, Cancel, Cancel All and Exit

Net Position (F4): Users can see their Carry forward and intra-day positions here. From here they can
Square off and Convert the Positions

Login: The trading system implements a two factor authentication.

- First the user will have to enter a valid user id and password and if this is validated,
- User will have to provide correct answers to two random questions. The answers would have to
match the answers provided at the time of first time login
Password policy:
 Password Length: Minimum 6 and Maximum 12

 Login id and Password cannot be same
 Password cannot be same as previous 3 passwords
 Password must have Alphabet, Numeral and Special Characters

Change password: Users will have to enter the old password, New password and confirm the new
password
Forgot password: User will have to enter their client id, email id and PAN number. After validation, an
email will be sent to the user with a default password which will have to be changed at login
First Time Login: When the users log in first time, they will be posed 20 questions. User will have to
enter answers for any 5 of them and save. On subsequent two factor authentication, users will be
prompted with any 2 of these 5 questions for validation.
