1 . Security Engineer

If the company gets bigger, it needs a special person who deals with
security issues, both network, system, and application. It is the duty
of a security engineer to make sure that everything is going well and
do a number of things such as configuring a firewall, performing
pentest, updating security and maintaining so that there are no
attacks from hackers that can cause harm to the company. Of
course we must have the skills

dealing with system security, being familiar with Linux and being
able to configure servers, accustomed to using pentest tools such
as Netsparker, Acunetix, Kali Linux, Wireshark.

I am not interested in this job because in my opinion this job is too

heavy for me to fight against hackers worldwide and I am not
desperate to always try.

2 . System Administrator

Someone whose job is responsible for maintaining the configuration

and security of the operating system of a computer, especially multi-
user computers such as server computers. To become a System
Administrator we must have basic knowledge about all aspects of
Linux or Unix such as Solaris or BSD.

I like this job because I want to keep the server safe from a virus
and interference with a computer.

3 . System Support / Technical Support

System Support / Technical Support has daily work to support /

maintain / maintain a computer system in the form of hardware or
software that is already running. A System Support has the
responsibility of maintaining and ensuring that the existing system
runs well, troubleshooting and repairing the system and providing
training to system users.

I like this job because in doing this work can be done anywhere to
handle a system so that it runs well.

4. Network Architect

As the name implies, network architect does things related to the network, such as
designing, building and testing communication networks. A network architect really needs a
lot of places, because today many institutions are adding facilities such as wifi in the office.
Being a network architect requires a long journey because in general companies will look for
candidates who already have certificates.

I do not like this job because I am lacking in design.

5 . Hardware Engineer

His job is to configure computer hardware and design the layout of computer equipment to
improve efficiency. The advantage gained by undergoing this profession is having the
opportunity to work with the latest technologies. This job is monotonous, so the hardware
engineer will feel bored with his routine. But it will be suitable for those of you who are
happy with a definite routine.

I don't like this job because it does a job related to hardware and in my department I only
focus on software.
