0 Introduction
Normally in the construction sector, the main objective of the construction process is to make
sure that the project can complete in the desired period based on the time, quality and time
which follows standard outlined and meet the requirement of contract document. Every
activities in the construction industries has it different of the activities. Specifically, each
design and the activities undertaken by the circumstances surrounding the project site which is
sorted by its function and designed based on what client need.
The dynamic in manages the cost and the financial of contractor in a project can
increment the profit margin of a contractor. Most deficiency in the work of the contractor of
the project is due to cost management and financial impotency. Cash flow management is
vital to ensure the continuity of an organization contractors to continue to compete in the
construction industry (Thompson, 2000).
Furthermore, the construction industries in this country now having a several persist
problem. This situation could eliminate the objective of the construction including the quality,
budget and time. Therefore, a focus on financial from the economy perspective can counter
all the problems.

1.1 Objective
The project of course Civil Computer Engineering BFC 43201 for this semester is to show
the management based on time frame and work schedule in the construction project. To
accomplish the goals of this project, it is significant to have all those economical elements in
helping the flow to counter all the problem in the construction. Those elements mention
included work breakdown structure (wbs) in tabular view, working time, table on duration
estimation, gantt chart , and comparison of physical and financial s-curve using Microsoft
project. Below are the objective of this project:

1.3.2 Location
Seri Impian is easy to access through Jalan Kluang – Bandar Tenggara and connecting
with an idea of built a junction/ strategic exit way. Seri Impian is a landmark to the
Kluang - city center which is surrounded by the scenic beauty of nature and fresh air
that gives more comfortable. This city is a strategic paths with the existing road
network. Jalan Kluang Tenggara and will be linked to motorway Kluang-market
warehouse that has been proposed.
1.3.3 Capital
To running the construction process, contractor need to invest their own money first
before claim it to the client after finished the work. So, in this case, Gugusan Yakin
Berhad need to borrowed the money form the bank. The interest rate is usually different
for the duration of the construction, and will change once the payments begin Gugusan
Yakin Berhad has loaned from the Affin Bank Berhad with 7% interest per year.

2.1.1 Salaries
Our company can typically assume the cost for salaries and wages for project
budgeting purposes. For example, a project may require a marketing manager to create
marketing materials and execute marketing strategy. In this project is expected to last
three months, the project cost assumption for the marketing manager is approximately
three months of salary. Similarly, the cost assumption for hourly workers is attained
by estimating the total number of work hours for the project and multiplying that
number by the number of workers and their hourly pay. The salary of competent
person is RM80/day for rebar and brickwork. Meanwhile, for normal worker is
RM50/day. The competent worker in this site is 3 person which is for rebar and
brickwork. Whereas, other 17 is general worker.
Indirect costs are also part of a project's cost assumptions. Indirect costs are not directly
related to the finished project, but must still be paid for in the project's budget. Typical
indirect costs include administrative salaries, office rent and office supplies. When
assuming the cost for indirect expenses for a project, managers look to the business' past
indirect expenditures and create a unit of time to assign for indirect costs.

2.1.3 Equipment
The assumed project cost of equipment usually includes the cost of new equipment
needed for the project and the expenses incurred from equipment maintenance. For
example, a construction company may know that it needs the use of a crane to
complete a building. The construction company would then calculate the cost of the
machinery over the length of the project, including any insurance, and write that cost
in the equipment section of the projected budget.

Total quantity area of site clearing = 7000ft

Depth of swimming pool = 5ft Area
of swimming pool = 20ft x 12ft

Excavation volume for swimming pool = 1200ft
2.1.4 Machinery
Concrete mixer and crane as asset. Whereas, for these machinery is rental by
estimated daily used.

2.2 Work Breakdown Structure
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a used to identify the tasks and activities that must be
performed. It divides the project into several parts that can be managed. The concept of WBS
is to manage a whole project, there must be someone that need to manage and control each of
the parts. To define the WBS, Microsoft Project need to be used. It will display as a graphical
or outline method that shows the division of work in multi-level system. As below is the
graphical figure for WBS in this project. In appendix, we provide the Gantt chart and the
numbering of the WBS.
