Study on Damped Outrigger systems

 A fifty storied building with outrigger structural system was analysed with and without viscous dampers
and comparision was made to evaluate the efficiency of a damped outrigger system in terms of drift
ratios, storey forces, lateral displacement , base shear values etc.

Design of Cold formed steel structures

 A highly customized spreadsheet was made using MS Excel which can calculate section properties for
any profile of Cold formed steel section, allowable bending stress, compression the member can carry
as per IS 801-1975 specifications.

Modular Construction technique

 A four storied steel building was analysed and designed using STAAD Pro and a cost comparision of
the building using conventional method of construction with modular construction was made.

Paper Publication

Published a paper on “Cost Comparison of Modular Construction method with conventional method of
on-site construction” in the international conference on advances in science and technology ICAST 2015.
