Subject: Cover Letter for Visitorvisa application to Canada

Dear Sir/Madam,

My Name is XYZ (Passport number XYZ) and I am writing this application to request you for a visitor visa
to Canada.

I work as a <Position> in a startup called <Company Name> in Bangalore, India. My Employee ID is XYZ
and the company’s Corporate Identity Number (CIN) is XYZ. Please find attached copies of my
employment letter, company ID card, salary slips for last 3 months and my tax filing documents for the
last two years.

I am due for my annual vacation of one month in October and I am very keen to spend this time visiting
my friend XYZ residing in Montreal, Canada. XYZ is a permanent resident of Canada (PR ID: XYZ) and has
kindly invited me to visit and stay with him during my vacation. I am a keen traveler and I have visited
several countries like UK, Malaysia, Dubai, Egypt and New Zealand in the past for business and leisure.
Details of my travel history, copies of my visas/work permits and passport stamps for all these trips are
attached herewith. I have, however, never visited the Northern American region and I am very keen to
experience the natural beauty and diversity of Canada.

During the course of my stay, I intend to visit the word famous Niagara falls, thousand islands and the
beautiful city of Banff. I am also very excited to witness the incredible Aurora lights if I get a chance. I am
looking forward to being in Montreal during Halloween, which my friend assures me is incredible, and
taking advantage of the shopping deals. A copy of my planned travel itinerary is attached herewith.

I will be staying with my friend at his apartment <Address> during the course of my stay in Montreal. All
other costs related to this trip e.g. flight tickets, meals, transportation, hotel accommodations in other
cities, as well as insurance costs will be borne by me. I have sufficient funds in my own accounts to pay
for the entire trip and I have attached copies of my bank account statements to substantiate this.

I will be returning to my duties at <Company Name> on November 16th 2016. A copy of my confirmed
round trip air tickets is attached. I will be purchasing medical insurance prior to my travel to Canada to
ensure that I am not a burden on the Canadian taxpayers in case of any medical contingencies.

I have properties and investments in my name in India, demonstrating my ties to the country. Copies of
the registration documents of my property as well as proofs of investments are attached herewith.
Additionally, my aged parents are dependent on me.

I hope that this information will sufficiently demonstrate my intentions of travel as well as my ties to
India, and allow you to issue the necessary visitor’s visa to me. I undertake to make sure that I do not
