Our Online student enrollment system enables students to enroll into their subjects prior

to the commencement of their semesters. This enrollment system not only allows international
students to enroll through internet without traveling to the campus but also incorporates the
business rules. These business rules cover a wide range of regulations and policy such as subject
pre-requisite, student's payment status, course coordinator's decision and the correspondence of
students' seniority to the intended enrolling subjects. Besides business rules, the system also
incorporates various notification mechanisms like Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Email.
XML is used to store the business rules and thus allow the portability of the system interface to
wider range of devices such as Personal Device Assistant (PDA). The interface auto-detects the
user's device either PC/laptop or much smaller screen device such as PDA. In short, the
enrollment system backend engine runs based on the business rules and front-end engine runs to
provide high satisfaction user experience. With the business and user interface, the system is able
to run the workflow of student enrollment from the online enrollment form to approval workflow

The Calingatnan National High School is a secondary school with high morale in all
aspect of academic. The school has vision to have an automated system that can help the process
of enrollment, student’s information, and file security. It has a total enrolment of 580 and 22
employees. The Automated Student Information and Enrollment System focus on the data
efficiency, processing reliable data of information, and securing files. A good student
Information and Enrollment System is not just for the process of recording, retrieving and
tracking but also to increase the school’s productivity, service, quality and competitiveness. The
development of the system employed, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 was used in developing GUI
and My System Query Language or MySQL as database of the system. Program coding was
done in Visual Studio. Reliability, and Usability were strongly agreed that they were attributes
on the system. The Efficiency geared the highest average weighted of 4.90, described as strongly
agree. Recommendations are: to install network connectivity, just a local connectivity for
monitoring and facilitations; rigid training for the end users should be undertaken, to include the
maintenance of supplementary hardware and software facility; and alternative action when

would provide another option for enrolling and that would compensate for the school’s lack of
manpower and time-consuming system. The database of the system is the dbEnrollment. It
contains many tables and stores information such as student’s academic records, secretary’s files
and records, class schedules, pre-requisites, subjects, curricula and other essential data needed in
the system. The proposed system caters to old, freshmen, transferees and shiftees with the
following services: subject evaluation, posting of grades, viewing of curriculum, add and update
profile. The system lessens the enrollment time, speeds up file management, and minimizes

The proposed Computerized Enrollment and Billing System of San Diego Study Center -
Silay City can regulate and process, billing and documentation and files of students
automatically. Using the system, student’s documentation and billing process will be easier. The
system enables the authorized faculty to keep information about students. The Computerized
Enrollment and Billing System was conceived to the manual process of enrollment in
preschoolers in order to have an organized flow of transaction and an ease of work. It can
minimize the processing time in order to access records of the students quickly so that enrolment
process will be much faster than usual. The computerized enrollment system is operated by a
computer so that it will be fast to process and locate the records every student and can perform
and operate better system that will serve as more reliable tool in recording and enrolling students
of the institution.
The proponents gathered necessary data that will help in the progress of enhancing the
existing system. Through this study, the authorized faculty will now be more comfortable
because the enormous work will be minimized during enrollment because of fast and easy way
of enrollment process. The processed system will greatly improved the efficiency in the

College Enrollment System led by administrator works with students, academic and
support staff to ensure the effective administration of all matters of students admission, fee
details and contact details of students.
The administrator assigns different user ID’s and passwords to clerk and accountant so
that he shares his work these are the people responsible for entering and making changes to the
entered data. So, the username and password are highly secured.
The administrator have all rights over the system. Clerk is responsible for contact details
and transfer of student’s module. He can update the contact details and checks the availability for
transfer of students in the beginning of second year.
Accountant is responsible for fee module. He enters the fee details into the database. It is
easy for the College Enrollment to know the student’s dues and send particular notice to them.
