Scope : Working on Compass Data Migration Project

Project Details : Ilanga Migration is a policy migration project from Mainframe system to Compass System (an
Insurance product of SunGard presently known as FIS). The project that consists of two main
process, firstly the monthly pilot runs where a list or set of policies are migrated from one
systems (legacy) to another, and the other process is the data cleansing process where
policies are cleaned to ensure that the meet the required standards and format of the system
being migrated too.
Responsibilities :
1. Performing requirement analysis
2. Updating, developing and implementing solutions
3. Enhanced the Data Cleansing tool to check and validate the data before uploading on to
the compass interface tables.
4. Wrote the PL/SQL procedures(interfaces) to load the cleaned data on to Compass
Interface tables.
