Rowan Fine Tweed (100% single ply wool, 90 m / 25 g), or
other fingering weight yarn.

Needles
US 1½ (2.5 mm) and US 2½ (3.0 mm) circular needles, 24’’/60
cm long, and dpns if you prefer to work the sleeves with them.
Adjust the needle size if necessary to obtain right gauge.
Gauge
25 sts x 38 rnds = 4x4’’ / 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch with
the bigger needles, worked in the round (after blocking).

Instructions

2nd rnd: k to end. Work to where you want to turn the short row. Knit
3rd rnd: (k2, k2tog, 2yo) to end. into the mother stitch one row below the next stitch,
4th rnd: (k4, drop the other yo) to end. slip the stitch onto the left needle, creating a double
5th rnd: k to end. stitch. Turn to work WS. The next time you come the
6th rnd: p to end. double stitch, knit it together to close the short row
gap.
Repeat rounds 5-6 until the garter stitch measures
0.75’’ / 2 cm. Bind off sts.
Sleeves
Change to US 2½ (3.0 mm) needles and place the
sleeve sts back onto the needle. Place the sleeve sts
back onto the needle.
