Promotions involve different responsibility and compensation

factors. Other companies make promotions more meaningful, adding new
duties, responsibilities and goals for promoted workers. These promotions
are so significant that they often require the person’s old position to be filled
by another worker. In some cases, a promotion can only be given if the
person above the promoted employee is given a promotion or is terminated
or demoted. Employers commonly promote an employee because he
excels in his current job. However, he may not excel in the new role.
Determining whether the employee demonstrates qualities that are central
to the new role is crucial. An employee with strong leadership skills
including the ability to handle criticism might make a good supervisor. An
employee who is genuinely friendly, honest and able to work well with
others may be a wise choice. Furthermore, an employee with a similar
vision for the company and a similar management philosophy to the boss's
may fit the job best. However, no boss should overlook the value of
creativity and new perspectives when making promotions. Many employees
are more likely to stay with a company if they feel they have a chance to
improve their careers. Giving long time employees promotions not only
keeps them working for you, but it also sends a message to the rest of your
staff that hard work and loyalty can result in moving up. Set year-end
review criteria in advance to let employees know what’s expected of them.

VIII. The Financial Forecasts & Expected Returns, Risks and

Contingencies
The purpose of the financial section of a business plan is two-fold.
You're going to need it if you are seeking investment from venture
capitalists, angel investors, or even smart family members. They are
going to want to see numbers that say your business will grow--and
quickly--and that there is an exit strategy for them on the horizon, during
which they can make a profit. Any bank or lender will also ask to see
these numbers as well to make sure you can repay your loan. Owners of
small and mid-size businesses face all kinds of risks. Some disasters
cannot be avoided, but the consequences of most of them can be
managed by practicing good business planning. A disaster can be
something that impacts the entire economy or an event that affects only
the business, such as losing a large customer or an essential
vendor. The key is to establish strategies to maintain profitability, keep
cash flowing, keep employee morale up, and make your business
secure in good times or bad. Following are some ideas to help you
minimize risk in your business.

IX. Environmental and Regulatory Compliance

SGS environmental compliance services can check your compliance
with regulations in place to protect the environment, verify your activities
and equipment, permits and documentation. Prepare the necessary
documentation for permit and license applications. And we provide
verification of the paperwork to show regulators your compliance and
stakeholders your commitment to environmental protection.
Consequently environmental regulatory compliance requires certain
activities to possess permits and for validated environmental licensing
for the use of certain types of equipment.

X. The Capital Structure & Financial Offering

Capital and financial structures set the firm's level of leverage.
Leverage, in turn, determines how creditors and owners share
business risks and rewards. For the first year we are going to have to
put in a lot of work to get our business started up. When we put in all
of the numbers and think about how much we need to run the ice
cream and frozen yogurt business we came up with our financial
numbers. We know that when you buy in bulk it is a lot cheaper.
Therefore, we are buying our products in large quantities to stay
under our limit.
