MINUTES OF THE MEETING Facilitator: Mr. Julius H. Ramon

Attendees: MAPEH Unit

The meeting started at 10:30 in the morning through a prayer led by Ms. Alea Co. It was facilitated
by the MAPEH Coordinator, Mr. Julius H. Ramon. The facilitator discussed the following agenda:

1. Climate Change Concerns

 The Senior High School Science Unit come up with two activities in relation with the
unexpected alteration of climate. These are ECOMODELO in which students will materialize
a costume made out of recycled materials, and ECOBRICK for each student. These outputs
will be considered as part of their project in Arts and Health.
 November 26 – Parade
 Jan 30 – Submission of Ecobrick

2. INSETT

 Date is on November 29, Thursday. If in case there would be no speaker, team building will
be started up in the afternoon.

3. Outreach Program: Surprise in a Box

 This activity will be spearheaded by Mister Laionel Ruelan, AP and ESP Coordinator. He
needs 200 sponsors to give school supplies collected inside a shoe box.

4. Submission of Test Questionnaire

 December 5-7

5. Christmas Party

 Students – December 19, 2018


 Teachers – December 20, 2018
6. Third Periodical Examination
 Third quarterly exams will fall on January 16 up to 18, 2019. Submitting of grade sheets
as well as encoding of grades is on January 20-24, 2019.

7. Bible Month

 There will be recollection for students as well as retreat. No specific date yet.

8. E-DTR

 Electronic Daily Time Record will be implemented next school year, 2019.

9. Distribution of Report Cards

 As per advised by Mr. Rommel Rosales, the Prefect of Discipline, tell the students not to
bring cars on the day of the distribution of cards (November 9) due to lack of parking
slots. Also, there will be a parenting seminar.

10. JS Prom

 This activity will cater Grades 10 and 11.

11. Summer Remedial/Summer Class Program

 Mister Julius Ramon reiterated the summer remedial for those students who will fail in
the subject. Before giving a final failing grade, ensure that the student is given enough
remedial activities.
 There will be summer class programs intended for singing, dancing, playing instrument,
etc.

12. COSC Concerns

 Observe proper procedure in handling disciplinary cases.


 Do not entertain parents who do not have any appointment schedule.
 Do not make use of the old disciplinary form. There will be a new format for DPA
purposes.
 Attendance of teachers during flag ceremony will be observed.

13. Other Matters

 The Security Office will be strict with the uniform, haircut and ID of the students.
 For ADHOC, there will be two observations this third quarter.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:40 pm.
