BRAND ROOM is a partnership firm promoted by Mr. ummerkoya c, S/o, Alikkutty, having

residential address at cheleekkara, Velliparamba PO, Kozhikode, Kerala-673008

Mr. Hisham ak , manangattuparamba , velliparamba PO , Kozhikode- 673008 The unit is mainly

concentrated with the wholesale and retail of textile fabrics, which is all new branded items.

It is needless to mention that textile is a flexible material consisting of a network of natural or

artificial fibers ( yarn or thread ) . yarn is produced by spinning raw fibers of wool , flex , cotton ,

hemp , or other materials to produce long strands . textiles are formed by weaving , knitting ,

crocheting , knotting or tatting , felting or braiding .

The term is a textile is a latin word originating from the word texere which means to weave , and we

have our favorite article of clothing , but have you ever wondered where that piece of clothing began.

In india textile business is very common and large number of peoples doing textile business industry

And also it is un avoidable for humen being so the importance of the business is also very high .

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

Readymade garments are the choice of urban people. It is also gaining wider acceptance in

semi-urban and rural areas. The huge charges made by tailors and delay in delivery has made

people to switch over to readymade garments. In domestic market and export market, it has

made spectacular progress in the last decade. This industry is becoming very vibrant and lot of

foreign investment pouring in this industry because of low risk and high earning nature of this

industry. As these products are fashion oriented, entrepreneurs should always keep in mind

the changing fashion styles. Considering its advantageous position, it is assumed that there

will be no constraint in marketing of gent’s readymade garments.

Kozhikode, Kerala 673008 .The promoter is having 10 years of experience in thedistribution of

packaged drinking water. Since 2009 he is in the field of this business and has complete

experience in this aspect of business, which he gained as a result of his deep observation and

his commitment towards business. Within this short period, he widened his business across the

Kerala and acquired a good reputation. By using new technologies and inventions he

satisfied the customers as well as survived in the present competition of this industry.

He has already established good relationship with customers and distributors. He is very

passionate towards strategic decision making and business achievements. By years of

experience, he is capable of understanding the new business opportunities and preferences of

the youth as well as old. Moreover, the interactions with theyouth made him more

comfortable to participate in business

DEMAND PROSPECTS

Consuming bottled water in kerala has become a necessity now. The consumers perceive

bottled water as safe to consume. Pure and safe drinking water has always been a necessity.

Traditionally, pipe water distributed by the municipalities has been the trusted water supply

for drinking purposes. In the earlier days, water available from the wells and springs used to be

considered safe and was stored in earthen pots or brass containers. This water was

considered safe for drinking and serving to guests and visitors. The tradition and style

of serving drinking water, in kerala, has however changed quite dramatically during the

last
decade. Almost a decade ago, the introduction of bottled water or “packaged mineral water”

has changed the tradition of serving and consuming drinking water..

The growing demand for bottled water speaks volumes of the scarcity of clean drinking water

and the quality of tap water. It has become an icon of healthy lifestyle emerging in Kerala. Selling

– ‘safety’ – i.e. pure and simple water has now become one of the fastest growing

industries in Kerala .

Marketing is intended to be made through advertisements and direct marketing.The unit has a

fairly extensive road network. The unit is 9 KM from Kozhikode city , 16 KM From

Ramanattukara Town, hence there is a huge chance to serve more customers located nearby

flats, offices, schools and shops.

LOAN PROPOSAL AND SECURITY

Universal Agencies proposes for an overdraft facility of Rs.20,00,000/- ( Twenty Lakh

Rupees Only) to make payments towards Purchase of Inventory and other day to day

expenses are also to be met.


CONCLUSION

Brief description of the unit, its promoter, profitability, and future workings etc. have been

discussed in the Report. The profitability and cash flow projections indicate the positive

working results of the project. The debt service Coverage ratios reveals the viability and the

unit’s capability to meet the obligations in time. Thus, the promoter is confident of the

possibilities of the unit. The promoter can get good return for his investment also.
