Dear Sir or Madam of Hiring Manager,

I write this essay letter as the one of the internship application requirements in your company.
I learned this internship information from the company website and the broadcast message in
my line application message. I am very interested about this internship opportunity especially
in the fields of Accounting or Tax.

Three years of experience during my college gives me competence in accounting fields

starting from indentification of the data, create transactions journal untill the preparation of
financial statements. I also have the ability to analyze the financial statements to check the
fundamental condition review of the company. I get this analyzing experience when I joined
my campus organizations which focused on the field of capital markets study.

In addition to the capital market ability, I also understand in auditing fields which is also one
of my favorite subjects in the field of accounting. I already understand to understand the audit
activities from planning the audit, understanding of the internal control of the compnay,
perform a test of control untill the stage of substantive test for multiple accounts in some
business transactions. I also have some basic knowledge in term of taxes, especially income
tax, fiscal reconciliation, and the preparation of Annual Tax Return og the company. Although
currently my knowleged is limited but I have a strong determination to continue to learn
because this is my passion. The intermediate ability in MS Office such MS Word and Excel
operation and some of accounting software such Zahir Accounting and MYOB could support
me in preparing the financial satetements.
I declare myself as an easy going person, have a good communication and interpersonal
skills, always optimistic, responsible and eager to achieve a good work standards, eager to
learn, adaptable person, have a good endurance in working, and always motivated. Those
things I have always trained well in my daily life, campus life, and in my organization life. In
my opinion, a good self-control will I get when I always get a softskill tranied and have a
good interpersonal skills. So I regard it as an important thing in my life.

During my period in my organizations, I got a lot of valuable experiences. In addition to

leadership , time management, and public speaking skill, I learned how to understand the
people, controlling my emotions, establish good comunication, respect one’s opinion and how
to be a good leader. I learned that to be a good leader, I should be able to make my team into
a family and always give a value in every activity of my organization. I am not only focus on
the target, but giving the value into my circle and my environtment is more important. I
admitted the way in my experiences in organizations faced may challenges, but I believe
these things were able to make my self get better and mature. I also h have some
organizational experience in different environments and culture so it were trained me to
always quickly adapt in my circle. I am sure this ecperience will be invaluable to build my
career in the future.

The reason I apply this full internship program is to make a golden step to achieve my dream
to become a professional that expert in the field of accounting and finance. I also made a
target when I passed my graduationto work in a bonafide company in accordance with my
passion which is accounting field. After three years of working, I will try to take up a
scholarship to get my master degree abroad. It doesn’t rule out the possibility for me to learn
in accordance with the needs of my company later. The thing is, I want to make a good
contribution in my future company. After successfully taking the title of master degree, I will
take a high role into the assistant manager or manager position in my company. Those are the
plans that I already made to achieve my dreams, so to work in internship program is very
important for me.

The next reason is applying the knowledge that I have with more professional environment. I
am sure the work environment will be different from the organization’s environment during
my college. I want to get out my comfort zone by finding the new challanges in accordance to
support my future career’s life. I want to learn to get a real responsibility in the proffesional
matter. Other than that, I want to build a relation as many as I can and meet the talented
people who have the same passion with me. So I will be more aware of what I need to correct
in myself toachieve the goals and dremas that I have set in the beginning.Therefore I have a
strong motivation to work well during the period of internship and hope to make a best
contribution from me to this company especially in the field of accounting or tax.
