T: Good morning class! Today we are going on a trip to see Tony at his pizza parlor.
T: *Presents diagram of dough being tossed in the air* Sing the direction of the dough in
an “oo” syllable.
T: Model the pitches used in the song individually. (Sol, Mi and La)
T: Model the pitches in relation to the song. (Sol to Mi, and La to Sol)
Justin:
T: Listen to my song.
T: Sing the song with me. My turn is first. My turn, your turn, my turns first.
T: My turn will be longer. My turn is still first. My turn, your turn, my turn first.
T: My turn will be even longer. My turn is still first. My turn, your turn, my turn first.
T: Now let's sing the whole song! My turn is still first. My turn, your turn, my turn, go.
T: Oh No! Tony dropped a pizza and sent pizza topping everywhere! Repeat after me.
T: Pick up toppings and put four of them on your pizza in any order! You have one
T: Sausage, cheese, bacon, pepperoni *Taps the rhythm lightly on the drums*
Cause she told me, pizza pizza daddio. *Walks in time to the song to another pizza
station. *
T: *Says the topping on a student’s pizza creation and lightly taps the rhythm on the
drums. *
T: What did I just do? How did I tap the drum, was it loud or really soft? How did I walk to
T: Let’s move around the room and check out each other’s pizzas. Sing with me! Ready,
T: This pizza looks great! Let’s move it to the oven. *Slowly chooses group by group to
put their pizzas in the oven until everyone is on the other side of the room. *
