COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR WAR WIDOWS

INTRODUCTION:
The main motive of the topic is to solve a communal problem that is very evident in the country,
after the loss of husband, where most of the financial strength of a middle class family rests. The
issues that an widow faces after the enormous loss, with the lack of resources and financial
support, the up bringing of the children and the standard of living of the family diminishes. The
Pension given to them is only one fourth of the salary which makes them weak and dependent on
others. The women from unprivileged areas at most of the times, cannot find enough resources
and support that they require for them to help their family.

In order to provide them the opportunities to contribute towards the family, the society and to
make them stand tall in the society a institutional centre which provides all around Preparation,
training and grooming in every aspect to make them earn for their own is very much required
which is today lacking in the country.
