As what I observed in the video that was talking about the Robosapiens, in today’s
era, technology was the most prioritized thing by people today. People chose to live within
technology because it can make their life easier. “The rise of the machines is just around the
corner.” Almost every aspects of modern human life has been influenced by technology.
Technology changed life especially on our perspective. On some points if we tackle all about
robotic stuff, robots can do high quality work than other people. Robots ensures that they
rarely make mistakes than a human worker. As long as robots have power, they can work
continuously without any pauses and does not get tired compared to people. When making a
robot, it uses tons and tons of codes and commands. It takes years to make a robot that can
do anything. As what the video says, in the near future, robots may run our world. Me as a
human being, I would not allow technology to take over us but technology is technology.
Robots can be comparable to people, that’s why most of the people choose human being as
their real-time partner. Robots are not always good and they have their own disadvantages.
Robots have no common sense, they not think, decide and act well compared to human
being. Robots can be invaluable sometimes. What we think is they can do all, but not really.
There was a part in the clip that robots may be comparable to toddlers but in a negative way.
Robots walk hardly because they can’t balance. It takes years to get a robot to stand and walk
in a straight line. But technology is getting better all the time. Some companies had already
developed some robots like ASIMO and PACKBOT. ASIMO is made by Honda. It is
designed to look friendly and makes us feel like the future is here already. ASIMO can also
recognize the faces and voices of people, while PACKBOT is a robot designed to help the
police or Armed forces in dangerous operations. PACKBOT stands as the right hand or the
left hand of a police officer or any of the officers that leads our city to its own good. It is
designed also to give a look on where the bad guys are hiding. It is a versatile and durable
robot. There are no wires connected to this robot that might break during an operation so
they can throw it anytime and anywhere. These robots symbolizes that the future is there all
the time. Robots can be used to make all works easier. Just like the robot PAPERO.
PAPERO can be your personal maid and it can do anything in your house. It is programmed
to respond to human and checks your house if there’s anything inappropriate inside it.
“Robots can see. Robots are 10 times better than you see. But robots don’t understand what
they are seeing.” Well, that’s true. In fact, humans are actually smarter than robots. Humans
can easily understand what’s around them.
 Some parts of the video, robots can also be a part of a people’s body part. Today,
when people lost their body part, robots can be a substitute to the part that was lost. Eric, in
the video, lost his arm on a night shift printing press. It all happened because of an accident.
But losing an arm isn’t make his life stopped, but he continued. Eric’s new arm makes his
life easier and effortless. His new arms can detect his body’s feeling and movement. A stroke
victim also powered by technology. A stroke victim can’t move and speak but an electronic
brain implant gives him the ability to operate a computer by the power of thought. His
thoughts were powered by an electrical activity which is picked up by a computer. His brain
was able to communicate with electronic devices. Technology innovates. Maybe someday
people choose to have brain implants for them to have electronic intelligence. We should
accept that someday robots can be a part of our future and robots can help our life to become
easy.
