I. CONTEXT:
Title: School Science and Technology Fair

II. RATIONALE

The Division of City Schools Tarlac will be conducting School Science and
Technology Fair for the month of September. This program is designed to provide an
overview on the importance of technology and innovations not only to our lives but as well
as in education. Through this we will be able to have an insight and understanding of what
innovations and technology really are.

III. OBJECTIVES: The said program aims to:

 Explain the concept and importance of innovations to us and in education
 Promote Science and Technology consciousness and a culture of innovation
among the youth

V. METHODOLOGY

 Coins for a Cause – Science Equipment

o coin banks in each representative of the grade level for Binibini &
Ginoong Agham 2019, to be filled until October 1, 2019 – 8 am.
o collected amounts will be used as the activity expenses and funds for
science equipment.
  Binibini & Ginoong Agham

o Kinder to Grade 6
o Coin Bank in each grade level to be filled until October 01, 2019 – 4pm (to
be used for activity expenses)
o Coin Banks with largest amount of money will be the winners.
o Attire: Sports Wear

 Film Showing

o For: Grade 3, 4, 5 & 6

o Science teachers will conduct a film showing to all the participants

 Poster Drawing Contest

o Grade 3 & 4
o Students will create a poster in accordance with the Science Fair theme.

 Slogan Writing Contest

o Grade 5 & 6
o Students will create a poster in accordance with the Science Fair theme.

 Science Quiz Bee

o For: Grade 3, 4, 5 & 6

o Science teachers in each class will conduct a classroom base quiz bee
o Coverage: 1st & 2nd Quarter
o Items: 10-15 items
o One winner in each grade level
