Job descriptions are essential tools in the success of the organization

-What I am telling you is that if the employees know their specific duties and responsibilities, then the
company lessen its circumstances since the flow of process is smooth because all the staff already know
what they are doing. The point of view of my topic is the strategic human resources or resourcing. We
just cant hire someone in the company without any legal basis, right? So this topic talks about the
criteria and the foresighting of ones skills of a person in the company.

These are written statements of the duties, responsibilities, reporting relationships, and minimum
qualifications of a job.

-As I read this topic, the first thing comes in my mind is applying through RESUME. As what I had
mention you earlier, it is the SPECIFIC responsibilities of one position. Example, the SERVICE CREW, when
you are applying a SERVICE CREW you should know what responsibilities assigned on you, meaning as its
word itself, don't expect SERVICE CREW is the same DUTY AS MANAGER, right? So service crew job
description is "Service crew members prepare and serve food, process customer payments, and provide
customer service. Restaurants primarily hire service crew members to work full- and part-time hours
during all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays"

(Bullet one and two pana)

Isumpay na 2nd bullet pag explain.

-Therefore, if I am the company whose HIRING VACANT POSITION, it is not good idea to write "APPLYING
ANY VACANT JOB" since HR is expecting you WHAT YOU ARE APPLYING FOR, WHAT SKILLS WOULD FIT
YOU IN THE POSITION. That is why some resume are disregarded because you are not pointing specific
position. So the HR don't risk its position to someone who might not handle the responsibilities well.

It also tells the employee where he should fit in inside the organization.

-Not just ORGANIZATION ALONE, but your DUTIES as well. How can I say that? Let me SITE you an
example. The company is hiring a LABORER, and MR. EMPLOYEE A is applying for it, but he is
underweight. His physical features are obviously too weak to handle the job.

I am not saying that HR is judgemental, but the risk of the EMPLOYEE is high.

As what you can see, any vacant job in the hiring company must meet your physical qualifications also.

-
Therefore, Job descriptions provide the legal bases of certain functions and physical requirements. It
lessen the HR's burden from the questions of applicants. "You must require atleast 1,2 DRIVERS LICENSE
RESTRICTION" it is clear that you need drivers license if you are applying for a taxi driver right? So If I am
the HR, why should I hire someone who dont posses the minimum requirement? That I why I choose
APPLICANT B than APPLICANT A.

Job descriptions should not encourage employees to work only inside the box.

-If ever you were hired, expect that the company or your position also engage social interaction. You may
find difficulties if you are Introvert person and you are in SERVICE CREW POSITION right? Company has
team buildings to improve your relation with your co-workers. It doesn't mean you meet the
requirements, you work ALONE.

And one more thing...

Be confident on your skills. As accounting student it is okay to fail sometimes, it makes us WHAT
ACCOUNTING IS, it is not simple... but we must try accurate as much as possible and consistency. We
must be resilient, we learn from mistakes. Someday we have our own work, and we learn every day from
it. So be confident always...
