    Why Drinking Alcohol Should Be Banned?

    Alcohol is actually ethanol, an organic compound used in beverages. It is one of the


    compounds to make beverages like beer, wine and distilled spirits. So alcohol is actually drinking
    ethanol. It is a psychoactive drug and has importance according to social and cultural values. It acts as
    depressant and start controlling central nervous system thus slowing down the function of central
    nervous system. It alters different functions of the brain and can produce dangerous results. For
    example, alcohol alters the vision of a person; as a result, the person may see the things which are
    actually not happening.

    I. Ethanol is an organic compound used in beverages.

    A. Ethanol is simply known as drinking alcohol.

    1. It is a psychoactive drug that is active ingredient in drinks.

    2. It is one of the compound to make beverages like beer, wine and distilled spirits.

    II. One of the causes of drinking alcohol should be banned.

    A. It alters different functions of the brain and can produce dangerous results.

    1. Alcohol alters the vision of a person; as a result, the person may see the things which are
    actually not happening.

    2. It acts as depressant and start controlling central nervous system thus slowing down the
    function of central nervous system.
