Children’s Medical Center

2.0 Area of Investigation (Software Development and Mobile Application // Service

Management and Business Analytics)

A management system is a software that can help a following organization or facility with
how their system works to fulfill a certain task or objective. For instance, a customer
management system is a system that can help an employee to conveniently manage their
customer’s information and other given information.

The proposed management system is a system that helps the said hospital in terms of
managing documents and files within the facility. This software aims to provide
convenience to not just the staffs that handles document management, but also to the whole
facility.

3.0 Reason for Choice of Study:

The group have decided to conduct this study to help PCMC (Philippine Children’s
Medical Center) with regard to managing their documents. The group chose this kind of
study because this study cannot just help the said facility, but can also give benefits to other
facilities as well.

4.0 Importance / Significance of the Study:

This study aims to provide convenience to the staffs and patients of the facility. The goal
of the study are the following:
 The system will help the staffs with managing documents being handed to
the staffs.
 The system can provide job opportunities.
  The system will bring convenience to the staffs upon looking for
documents.
