The radiostation is installed to permit the air-to-ground
communication •
The radiostation' box is loc~ted on an auxiliary panel under
the instrument panel .. The VHF push button is placed on the
throttfe lever. Located in the right portion of the instrument
panel is a socket for connecting the earphones ..

7.3.2 .. Basic specifications

Frequency range: 118.000 - 137.975 MHz
Channel separation 25 kHz
Total number,of channels 800
Transmitte~ power : 16 W
Range 6f operating temperatures +60 to-50 0 C

7 .. 3 .. 3. Radiostation actuators:
The radiostation control panel'contains :
noise squelch (SQ) in upper portion
- lighted frequency scale
two frequency selectors : LHfor the range 4n MHz .
, RH for the range {n kHz
loadness setting knob acting also as a radiostation main
switch in ~oWer portion.

Radiostation actuation:
(1) J'ust before turning the radiostation ON, the MASTER SWITCH
and the BATTERY switch -<should be turned ON; during
engine run, the GENERATOR switch should
.
be turned
.
. . ON, too ..
(2) Insert the earphone pin plug into the earphone socket.
(3) Turn the RADIO switch ON.
(.4) Set required frequen~y, by aid of frequency selectors.
(5) Turn on the radiostation ~y turning the main, switch knob
to the right .. Reception loudness is adjusted by turning
the same knob.. .
(6) DUring transmission l push the VHF button located on the
.throttle fever.
(7) In the event of weak signal rec, eption , it -is possible
to ~lace th~ noise squelch switch in the position labeled
'·0· and put the noise squelch out of operati6n.
