ABSTRACT: In this experimental practice the calibration of the volumetric material was carried out, when
calculating the exact volume corresponding to each of the materials that weigh the empty material (balloon,
Erlenmeyer, beaker) in the analytical balance and then it was filled with water to a temperature of 19 ° C, except
some materials (burette, pipette), which were calibrated indirectly because they materialized in another way that
allowed the material to be within reach. Compare the accuracy of each material. The mass of the liquid with known
density (water) was obtained, which allowed obtaining the value at the temperature established with the use of the
pycnometer, all this was done to improve the handling capacity of these instruments and the quality of the
measurements.
