Assist in client relationships for sales and race meet to ensure they receive the full Keeneland experience. duties
included sending out invitations, interviews, assisting with graded stakes races.
2017 – PRESENT
KEENELAND RACE COURSE, BETOLOGIST & KIDS CLUB STAFF
Outreach to racing fans during both the spring and fall meets to educate, promote and encourage Thoroughbred
racing. Duties include teaching fans how to read a race program and formulate straight wagers or exotics as well as
providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of patrons. Created a positive and upbeat environment as
Buckles the mascot at Keeneland Kids Club events and on-track family friendly experiences.

SHAWHAN PLACE FARM, BREEDING STOCK & SALES PERSONNEL
Cared for mares and foals on the farm on a daily basis. Transported mares to the breeding shed and satellite locations
for breeding. Actively participated in sales prep and yearling care.

Interacted with potential buyers. Organized horses for client inspection in a timely manner. Accompanied horses to
the sales ring with all appropriate veterinary statements and important updates.
2015 – 2018
HIRED GUNS RACING STABLE, CARETAKER
Managed equine health and care of a small stable of Standardbred race horses competing in the Ohio, Indiana and
Kentucky marketplaces. Prepared horses on a daily basis to go to and from the track for training. Traveled with horses
to race meets.
2014 – 2017
MIDLAND ACRES, INC., SUMMER VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Traveled on farm calls with veterinarians during summer months. Gained a working knowledge base of equine
reproduction on this commercial breeding farm which houses 6-9 stallions, 300+ mares and 150-200 foals each spring.
Observed and inquired on cases of any species which presented at the clinic.
