Resources:
Students will have background knowledge of privacy rules and general understanding of
sharing personal information with other people. Students will be able to access a shared
NearPod lesson, and successfully go through the slides.
Procedure:
Teacher and students will review personal information and privacy terms and ideas at the
board, discussing the importance of keeping personal info safe.
Model accessing NearPod slideshow at board, showing the materials they will be
working on during their individual computer time.
Students will work with partners to complete all tasks in their NearPod slideshow.
Student groups will take turns presenting to peers their two scenarios and how the
situations are the same and different.
Which situation turned out better? Which kept personal info the safest?
