MATH-SCI 2019 CELEBRATION

MATHletes “An Amazing Race”

MECHANICS:
1. The competition are only open for FOUR (4) Groups. First come, First Serve basis.
2. Each group should consist of 6 members: 3 Grade 8 students and 3 Grade 7 students
accordingly.
2. Each group should submit the Registration Form and Parent’s Consent Form before the
competition day to Ms. Joloyohoy. The forms are available from Ms. Joloyohoy.
3. The competition will be held at TES School grounds at 12nn on September 27, 2019.
4. Each groups should wear a t-shirt or any athletic shirt with the color assigned to them
during the submission of the registration forms.
5. Each member of the group should be in sports attire (comfortable t-shirt/dry-fit,
leggings/jogging pants, rubber shoes). THE STUDENTS ARE PROHIBITED ON WEARING
SLEEVELESS, SLIPPERS/SANDALS and SHORT PANTS during the game.
6. The students who wishes to join should be PHYSICALLY FIT and NO MEDICAL CONDITIONS
PRESENTLY OCCURING.
7. The participants should EXECUTE the challenges given in each station without any
hesitations and can be able to solve BASIC Math Problems.
8. ANY MECHANICS THAT ARE NOT FOLLOWED will make the registration considered void.
Thus, the group cannot join the competition.
9. The participants can review in advance on their 1st Quarter Math lessons in both Math 7
and Math 8.
10. The groups will compete on the fastest and first group who can do all the CHALLENGES
and SOLVE THE BASIC MATH PROBLEMS. The teacher assigned will declare the winners.
11. CHAMPION, 1ST RUNNER UP and 2ND RUNNER UP awards will be given accordingly. In
case of a tie, the participants will have received both the award.
