Review on the Tropical Cyclones and its hazards
A. Reviewing previous lesson or
Presenting the new lesson Let the students relate the previous lesson about the Typhoon by
using “WIKARAMBULAN”
Questions are given, as the learners guide prior to the video
presentation.

Group Activity # 2“Preventive Measures”

The class are divided into three groups. Given below are some
precautionary measures, using a table determine all the necessary
measures before, during, and after a typhoon.

a. Move immediately to the nearest evacuation center.


b. People are advised to listen to the latest severe weather
bulletin issued by PAGASA every six hours.
c. Stay away from flooded areas.
d. Be aware of flying debris that might cause injuries.

f. Check yourself/loveones if injured. Apply first aid.
g. Secure important papers like birthcertificate, marriage
contract, land titles and others.
h. Prepare for an evacuation plans for each members.
i. Do not immediately plug appliances it might cause electric
shocks.
j. Do not go outside while the typhoon is occuring.
