How Will I Survive?

Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law stunned the country for its scourge effects of continuous
increasing markup for most of the in demand products. This has been the center of argument in social
media and people keep flaunting their strong opinions regarding the issue.

At the first month of the year, upon implementing the TRAIN Law, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas warned the
people regarding the gradual ascending of petroleum prices in the world market because of the added
tax that is being required to the producers. Eventually, at this month, this action resulted to the
devastating increasing prices of physiological goods and products available both in wholesaling and
retailing stores.

Nowadays, people felt the prick of such high amount of goods endlessly. A Php 1000 bill could only give
you more likely 50% of the products than it used to buy. Average wage earner Filipino citizens should
allot more budget to consume their basic needs yet do not have sufficient source of income. Screaming
in pain at times like this is not their option but rather find a way and do everything for survival.

High inflation rate is a phenomenon that needs immediate plan and action. Philippines is still developing
but if the government fails resolving these growing conflicts, poverty might dominate the whole country.
TRAIN Law might not affect the lives of elite people but to families in the bottom level of the society, it
gave them the painful questions, how will I survive? Which path will take? The right where nothing is
left? Or the left where nothing is right?
