Alhamdulilahirabil’alamin, in the name of Allah SWT the Lord of Universe

who has been giving the blessing and mercies that enable me to complete and

accomplish this thesis with the title the use of graphic organizers technique to

improve the students’ narrative writing ability at the tenth grade of state senior

high school 1 Kibang East Lampung. Secondly never forget peace and blessings

for the greatest prophet Muhammad SAW who has bringing the stupidity to the

cleverness. This thesis is submitted as the partial requirement in accomplishing

undergraduate degree at English Education Study Program of Teacher Training

and Education Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Metro

Anyhow the writer would not accomplish this thesis without any supports,

advices, dedications, guides, from individual and institution thus in the lovely

chance, the researcher would like to sincerely acknowledge her deepest gratitude

at first for Prof. Dr. H. Karwono.,M.Pd, as the rector of Muhammadiyah University

of Metro, Drs. Partono, M.Pd, as the dean of Teacher Training Education Faculty,

and Amirudin Latif, M.Pd, the head of undergraduate English Education Study

Program.

This thesis cannot be complete well without guidance, correction, support

and advice from the wise and patience advisor Sudirman AM, M. Hum as the first

advisor and Yasmika Baihaqi, S. Pd, M. Pd, B.I even they have given their time

to this thesis.

Besides, her sincere appreciation and thanks also go to the head and

staff of TSU, Language Institute Muhammadiyah University of Metro especially

for Yasmika Baihaqi, M.Pd.B.I as the head of TSU Laboratory and Mrs. Widi S.Pd

, Mr. Khuldin S.Pd and Mrs. Yusi as the staff of TSU Laboratory for the greatest

experience during 4 semesters and the opportunity to learn and take a

responsible to be the assistance who guiding class from English faculty or non

English faculty.

Never forget, once more the writer gives the grateful and appreciation for

the truly motivator in the writer’s life Mr. Giono and Mrs. Dwi Yuliani as the

parents. However from the deepest of the heart, the writer cannot be spirit to

continue this course without any help from them and a bunch of love always be

given to them.

Finally, the researcher realizes that this research is far from the

completeness. Therefore, suggestion and criticism are expected to all readers for

the future. The writer hopes this thesis can give information and be useful for the

development of science especially in English field and generally in other fields.
