Recommendations:

1. Teachers should promote and nurture effective and active

teacher learning communities by developing strong identities as

professionals to help the students with their academic needs and

them address these needs.

2. Teachers should collaborate with their colleagues to promote the

culture of trust and knowledge. Sharing this collaboration will

increase teacher’s effectiveness; help improve student’s

performance, and willingness to adopt new innovations.

3. Teachers should strengthen leadership so that the head teachers

and directors can provide ongoing support.

4. Teachers should, therefore, look at ways to facilitate

independent, critical, and creative thinking by using active

learning techniques; these include student collaboration, asking

students to analyze case studies, debates and discussing new

ideas both during lectures and homework.

5. Having discussions and collaboration in class are essential for

encouraging students and implementing new teaching

techniques. Teachers must open to answering their student’s

question.
